The Life of Harriet Tubman

Harriet Tubman was born in Maryland, into slavery, in March 1822. She escaped from her owner, whose staff whipped and beat Tubman, and became an abolitionist most famous for organizing 13 missions to rescue 70 others bound by slavery. She was ready to use force, if needed, and she carried a revolver.

Her network of abolitionists and safe houses, where escaping slaves were sheltered, was called the Underground Railroad.

Harriet Tubman and John Brown

Tubman initially escaped to Philadelphia where slavery was illegal. She then returned to Maryland to bring her relatives, one group at a time, to Philadelphia and freedom. She would carry out her missions at night and maintained extreme secrecy to avoid being caught.

In 1858, Tubman met John Brown, who she helped plan and execute his raid on the US military arsenal located in the town of Harpers Ferry, Virginia. Brown, who was white and passionately against slavery, planned to use the arms taken from the arsenal to create a community of freed slaves in the mountains of Virginia and Maryland.

Brown was captured during the raid, which took place 1859, and he was hung later that year. The raid on the Harpers Ferry increased the fears of Southern slave owners that slave rebellions would take place, and the raid increased tensions between Northern and Southern states before the American Civil War, which did commence in 1861.

Once the Civil War began, Harriet Tubman was employed by the Northern Union Army as a cook, then nurse, army scout and spy.

Harriet Tubman leads the Combahee River Union Army Assaults

In 1863, Tubman became the first woman to lead an armed assault by Union troops of the Northern states during the Civil War. This raid in South Carolina led to the liberation of over 750 slaves. An article on Wikipedia describes the scene along the Combahee River.

“Once ashore, the Union troops set fire to the plantations, destroying infrastructure and seizing thousands of dollars worth of food and supplies. When the steamboats sounded their whistles, slaves throughout the area understood that it was being liberated.

Tubman watched as slaves stampeded toward the boats. ‘I never saw such a sight,’ she said later, describing a scene of chaos with women carrying still-steaming pots of rice, pigs squealing in bags slung over shoulders, and babies hanging around their parents’ necks. Although their owners, armed with handguns and whips, tried to stop the mass escape, their efforts were nearly useless in the tumult. As Confederate troops raced to the scene, steamboats packed full of slaves took off toward Beaufort.”

Tubman died on March 10, 1913. In 2019, a movie was made about her entitled Harriet.

Angela Davis as the Reincarnation of Harriet Tubman

Harriet Tubman has reincarnated as Angela Davis, an African American woman born on January 26, 1944, 31 years after Tubman died.

Davis shares many of the characteristics of Harriet Tubman. For example, like Tubman, Davis has been open to using force for societal causes. In 1970, she purchased firearms that were used in the armed takeover of a courtroom in Marin County, California, which is located just north of San Francisco.

The takeover was executed by Jonathan Jackson, an African American, whose intent was to kidnap Superior Court Judge Harold Haley, who would be used as a bargaining chip to force the release of his brother and others from prison. It was a time when racial tensions were high in the California prison system.

A shootout between Jackson and police occurred which left Jackson, Judge Haley and two others dead.

As a result of her involvement, Angela Davis was prosecuted for conspiracy to commit murder and she spent over a year in jail, before she was acquitted of charges in 1972.

Past Life Behavior: Angela Davis is a Militant Crusader for Liberal Causes, as was Harriet Tubman

Afterwards she was released from prison, Davis was an advocate of progressive causes and even became a Communist. She also supported the militant African American Black Panther Party, that itself was involved in gun battles with police in protest of police brutality against Blacks, primarily in Oakland, California.

The Black Panthers were likely was made up of Harriet Tubman’s compatriots from the Underground Railroad.

Angela Davis has also pursed a career in academics, including at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Reincarnation Case of James Bowie | Phil Collins: How an Obsession with the Alamo Revealed a Past Lifetime

Phil Collins is a world-famous English musician. After playing drums and singing for the group Genesis, he went onto a very successful solo career.

Phil has a very unusual passion for a musician born in the United Kingdom. He has an avid interest in the Battle of the Alamo, which took place in 1866. The Alamo was an American fort in Texas that the Mexican Army attacked, as Texans were claiming independence from Mexico, which had colonized that land.

Collins has a vast collection of artifacts from the Alamo and he has done presentations on the battle. Collins donated his collection to the State of Texas. In gratitude, in 2015, the state legislature made Collins an honorary citizen of Texas.

Phil Collins affinity for the Battle of the Alamo, which makes no sense logically, begs the question of whether Collins was there, at the Alamo, in a past lifetime.

A supporter of ReincarnationResearch.com proposed that Collins was James Bowie in a past lifetime, who was a major player in the Battle of the Alamo. Bowie has fame for a knife he wielded, now known as the Bowie knife.

In a session with Kevin Ryerson, Ahtun Re, a spirit guide channeled by trance medium Kevin Ryerson, who has demonstrated the ability to make past life matches with a high degree of accuracy, confirmed that Phil Collins was James Bowie in a past lifetime.

A Past Life for President George H. W. Bush as British Admiral Richard Howe: Though a Military Figure for Britain in the American Revolutionary War, Howe was an Advocate for Democracy

Revealed by: Spirit Guide Ahtun Re in a Ryerson-Semkiw Reincarnation Research Session

Article by: Walter Semkiw, MD

George H. W. Bush as the Reincarnation of Admiral Richard Howe

In doing research for my book, Return of the Revolutionaries, involving  reincarnated figures from the American Revolutionary War, a past life for George H.W. Bush was revealed. He was a British Admiral, Richard Howe, who was in command of the British fleet assigned to put down the American Revolution, which had its start in Boston, Massachusetts.

Though the facial resemblance is not the best in this reincarnation case, the overall bone structure is similar. Facial bone structure is what seems to stay the most consistent from one lifetime to another, though soft tissue features can be modified by genetic factors. Click on images to enlarge them.

Richard Howe placed his ships in the Boston Harbor, with the ships’ many cannons poised to destroy the city of Boston.

Though at the time Britain was the greatest military power in the world, George Washington, who was nominated to be the leader of the US Patriot Army by John Adams, drove the British naval fleet from the Boston Harbor by placing artillery captured at the Battle of Ticonderoga on the hills overlooking Boston. Howe understood that if the artillery cannons were fired, his fleet would be destroyed.

To avoid disaster for the British Navy, Howe ordered his ships to evacuate the Boston Harbor. It was the first military victory for the infant nation of the United States.

Note that George H. W. Bush was a US Naval aviator who was shot down during World War II. As such, he was an American war hero in contemporary times, but as Richard Howe he was a British military hero during the time of the American  Revolution.

In trying to understand this course of events, I asked about this situation to the spirit guide Ahtun Re, who I have been working with through the mediumship of Kevin Ryerson since 2001. Ahtun Re has demonstrated the ability to make accurate past life matches. I asked Ahtun Re how a British Admiral in the American Revolutionary War became a President of the United States, a nation that was Howe’s former foe.

Ahtun Re told me that though Admiral Howe was a devoted servant to his nation, Great Britain, he had great sympathy for the concept of a country governed by its citizens, rather than by a royalty installed by hereditary birth. Though Howe was loyal to his country, he was fascinated and supportive of the ideals of the new American nation. Indeed, history books have affirmed Richard Howe’s sympathy to the American ideals.

As a soul, Richard Howe planned to be reborn into the United States to become one of its advocates and leaders.

George W. Bush as the Reincarnation of Patriot Daniel Morgan and Al Gore as Horatio Gates Reborn

In a related case, George H. W. Bush’s son, President George W. Bush, has been identified as the US Patriot military officer Daniel Morgan, who was a hero in the Battle of Ticonderoga. The Patriot General in charge of that battle was Horatio Gates. Gates lauded the heroism of Morgan in the Battle of Ticonderoga.

Horatio Gates in contemporary times has been identified as Al Gore, who was George W. Bush’s opponent in the US Presidential election of 2000. I did a radio interview by the psychic and physical medium Uri Geller in the year 2000 shortly before George W. Bush defeated Al Gore in a hotly contested election. I discussed the past lives of Al Gore and George W. Bush during the American Revolution in that interview.

Though I didn’t know it at the time, Uri is a friend of Al Gore. After the interview, Uri told me he would telephone Al Gore, who was in the White House at the time as Vice President to Bill Clinton, to advise him of this information.

These reincarnation cases show how adversaries in one war, such as Howe | Goerge W. H. Bush, Morgan | George W. Bush and Gates | Gore, can reincarnate to promote a shared ideal.

I had the pleasure of meeting George W. Bush’s Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice, at an event in Washington, DC, in which I told her of the Daniel Morgan | George W. Bush reincarnation case. She surprised me by acknowledging that she knew of Daniel Morgan of the American Revolutionary War. I hope she told her boss of this past life connection.

Bill Clinton as the Reincarnation of Continental Congress President Peyton Randolph

The emotional friendship that evolved between George H. W. Bush and the person who defeated him in his bid for reelection, President Bill Clinton, has been much publicized. In my book, Return of the Revolutionaries, Clinton, in a past life, has been identified as a leader of the American Revolution named Peyton Randolph.

Peyton was the President of the First Continental Congress of the United States,  but died before the Second Continental Congress, in which the Declaration of Independence, was signed. Though Peyton Randolph did not live long enough to witness the creation of the United States, he reincarnated to be its President in the election of 1992.

I sent a copy of my Revolutionaries book to President Clinton after it was published in 2003. I was very surprised and thankful when I received a card from him thanking me for the book, noting that my book looked “fascinating.” Click on the letter to enlarge it.

Principles of Reincarnation: Evidence of Past Lives

Past Life Physical Resemblance: The facial features of Admiral Richard Howe and George H. W. Bush are roughly consistent, as are those in the other reincarnation cases cited.

Past Life Talents: Richard Howe was a military leader of the British Empire, just as George H. W. Bush was a US naval aviator and the Commander of Chief of the United States.

Anne Frank | Barbro Karlen Past Life CaseChange in Nationality: Richard Howe was a British military leader in the war between England and the fledgling United States. Howe reincarnated into the United States as a George H. W. Bush, a leader of democracy, a concept that was dear to Richard Howe.

If people understood that souls can change nationality, religion and ethnic affiliation from one lifetime to another, the world would become more peaceful place, as most wars are based on differences in these cultural markers of identity. A case in point is the:

Reincarnation Case of Anne Frank | Barbro Karlen

Relationships Renewed through Reincarnation: It has been noted that George W. H. Bush, in his past lifetime as Admiral Howe, was a contemporary of Daniel Morgan, a US Patriot Colonel and then General in the American Revolutionary War. Morgan reincarnated as George W. Bush, the son of Admiral Howe | George H. W. Bush. As such, enemies in one lifetime can become family in another.

Similarly, the Patriot General of the Battle of Fort Ticonderoga, Horatio Gates, reincarnated as Al Gore. Gates was the officer in charge of Colonel Daniel Morgan. Gates lauded the heroism of Morgan in the Battle of Ticonderoga, but they reincarnated as political foes in the personas of Al Gore and George W. Bush.

In addition, a military figure during George H. W. Bush’s service as US President became the future US commander of the war in Afghanistan under his son, President George W. Bush. This US General, Tommy Franks, has been identified as the reincarnation of George Washington.

Reincarnation Case of George Washington | Tommy Franks

Washington, recall, forced the navy of Admiral Richard Howe to evacuate the Boston Harbor by the cannons captured at Ticonderoga. Again, past life foes, in the personas of Richard Howe | George H. W. Bush and George Washington | Tommy Franks, have reincarnated to become allies.

The bottom line is that leaders of humanity must strive to secure ideals for a more peaceful and compassionate world, a vision that I am sure that the soul of Admiral Richard Howe | President George H. W. Bush would endorse. God bless their soul.

Reincarnation Case of George Patton | James Mattis

Proposed by: Walter Semkiw, MD

Affirmed by: Ahtun Re in a Ryerson-Semkiw Reincarnation Research Session

Article by: Walter Semkiw, MD

When Donald Trump appointed Marine General James Mattis as his Secretary of Defense, he said that Mattis is “the closest thing we have to General George Patton.” Noting a physical resemblance, I wondered if General Mattis could be the reincarnation of Patton. In a session with Kevin Ryerson, Ahtun Re affirmed that Mattis was Patton in a past life. Click on images to enlarge them.

George Patton was a firm believer in reincarnation and claimed to have past life memories involving ancient battlefields. He wrote the following poem regarding reincarnation:

Through a Glass Darkly
by Gen. George S. Patton,  Jr.

Through the travail of the ages,
Midst the pomp and toil of war,
Have I fought and strove and perished
Countless times upon this star.

In the form of many people
In all panoplies of time
Have I seen the luring vision
Of the Victory Maid, sublime.

I have battled for fresh mammoth,
I have warred for pastures new,
I have listed to the whispers
When the race trek instinct grew.

I have known the call to battle
In each changeless changing shape
From the high souled voice of conscience
To the beastly lust for rape.

I have sinned and I have suffered,
Played the hero and the knave;
Fought for belly, shame, or country,
And for each have found a grave.

I cannot name my battles
For the visions are not clear,
Yet, I see the twisted faces
And I feel the rending spear.

Perhaps I stabbed our Saviour
In His sacred helpless side.
Yet, I’ve called His name in blessing
When after times I died.

In the dimness of the shadows
Where we hairy heathens warred,
I can taste in thought the lifeblood;
We used teeth before the sword.

While in later clearer vision
I can sense the coppery sweat,
Feel the pikes grow wet and slippery
When our Phalanx, Cyrus met.

Hear the rattle of the harness
Where the Persian darts bounced clear,
See their chariots wheel in panic
From the Hoplite’s leveled spear.

See the goal grow monthly longer,
Reaching for the walls of Tyre.
Hear the crash of tons of granite,
Smell the quenchless eastern fire.

Still more clearly as a Roman,
Can I see the Legion close,
As our third rank moved in forward
And the short sword found our foes.

Once again I feel the anguish
Of that blistering treeless plain
When the Parthian showered death bolts,
And our discipline was in vain.

I remember all the suffering
Of those arrows in my neck.
Yet, I stabbed a grinning savage
As I died upon my back.

Once again I smell the heat sparks
When my Flemish plate gave way
And the lance ripped through my entrails
As on Crecy’s field I lay.

In the windless, blinding stillness
Of the glittering tropic sea
I can see the bubbles rising
Where we set the captives free.

Midst the spume of half a tempest
I have heard the bulwarks go
When the crashing, point blank round shot
Sent destruction to our foe.

I have fought with gun and cutlass
On the red and slippery deck
With all Hell aflame within me
And a rope around my neck.

And still later as a General
Have I galloped with Murat
When we laughed at death and numbers
Trusting in the Emperor’s Star.

Till at last our star faded,
And we shouted to our doom
Where the sunken road of Ohein
Closed us in it’s quivering gloom.

So but now with Tanks a’clatter
Have I waddled on the foe
Belching death at twenty paces,
By the star shell’s ghastly glow.

So as through a glass, and darkly
The age long strife I see
Where I fought in many guises,
Many names, but always me.

And I see not in my blindness
What the objects were I wrought,
But as God rules o’er our bickerings
It was through His will I fought.

So forever in the future,
Shall I battle as of yore,
Dying to be born a fighter,
But to die again, once more.

Through my work with Kevin Ryerson, another past life of Patton | Mattis was that of Hannibal Barca (183-181 BC), a Carthaginian general considered to one of the greatest military commanders in history.

American Revolution Reincarnation Cases: Past Lives for Bill Clinton, Al Gore & George W. Bush

My first book involves a cohort reincarnated from the time of the American Revolution. I found that a certain group of revolutionary leaders have been reborn in the contemporary United States and they once again have pursued political or military careers. These include Bill Clinton, Al Gore, George W. Bush and Alexander Haig.

In addition, Ronald Reagan, John F. Kennedy and Robert Kennedy were early leaders in post-revolutionary United States. These cases are described in detail in my book Return of the Revolutionaries.

Tommy Franks as the Reincarnation of George Washington

Tommy Franks, the commanding general who led the United States military response to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, is identified my book Born Again as the reincarnation of George Washington.

Washington was first and foremost a soldier and military leader, not a politician, philosopher or writer. Though he played a very significant role in the American Revolution, he took on a larger than life persona as the Father of the United States as in the 18th century, soldiers were glamorized. Washington was in the right place at the right time to gain worldwide fame. Tommy Franks embodies the qualities of George Washington, the soldier and commander, but has not received the same level of publicity.

I found that another cohort reincarnated from the time of American Revolution has been involved in a spiritual revolution, or at least an attempt to make spirituality evolve to a higher level.

Reincarnation Cases of Andrew Jackson | John Kerry & Rachel Jackson | Teresa Heinz

5 Andrew Jackson John Kerry Reincarnation

Andrew Jackson | John Kerry Case Proposed by: Kevin Ryerson

Rachel Jackson | Teresa Heinz Case Proposed by Walter Semkiw, MD

It was Kevin Ryerson who first formulated the hypothesis that John Kerry is the reincarnation of Andrew Jackson, the seventh President of the United States. In a subsequent session with Kevin, Ahtun Re, the spirit guide channeled by Kevin, who has a track record of making accurate past life matches, agreed that Kerry is the reincarnation of Jackson.

Andrew Jackson was born in 1767, in the border area between North and South Carolina, and died in 1845. John Kerry was born 98 years later, in 1943. There are a significant number of parallels in the lives and careers of Jackson and Kerry

Volunteering for Military Service Early in Life & Demonstrating Courage and Leadership in Military Service.

Andrew Jackson

Andrew Jackson was born in 1767 and when the Declaration of Independence was signed on July 4, 1776, Andrew was but nine years old. Four years later, at age 13, Andrew volunteered to serve in the Revolutionary War as a courier. After the war, Andrew studied law and began a distinguished career as a prosecutor and later as a judge.

Jackson continued to participate in military affairs and in 1802 was elected Major General of the Tennessee militia, a rank that was later also given to him in the regular army. Jackson is most remembered for his military service in the Battle of New Orleans, in the War of 1812. Due to his leadership and bravery in that battle, Jackson soon became a hero in the psyche of Americans.

John Kerry

John Kerry also volunteered for armed service early in his life. Just as he was about to graduate from Yale, Kerry volunteered to serve in Vietnam. In his second tour of duty, Kerry volunteered to command a Swift Boat, patrolling river deltas, one of the most dangerous of assignments. In the course of his career in the military, Kerry was awarded a Silver Star, a Bronze Star with Combat V and three Purple Hearts. After the war, Kerry co-founded Vietnam Veterans of America and later became Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on POW/MIA Affairs. In was in this capacity, working on the behalf of Prisoners of War and those Missing In Action, that Kerry became friends with John McCain.

Trait of Disobeying/Protesting Orders when Orders were Perceived to be Wrong

5 Andrew Jackson John Kerry ReincarnationAndrew Jackson

Andrew Jackson demonstrated defiance of authority when he felt the position of those in authority was wrong. This trait is illustrated in the following examples:

When Andrew served in the Revolutionary War as a courier, at age 13, he was taken prisoner by the British for a period of time. When a British officer demanded that Andrew shine the officer’s shoes, Andrew refused. The British officer responded by striking him on the hand with his sword, which resulted in a deep laceration of Andrew’s hand.

During the War of 1812, Major General Andrew Jackson was ordered to march his Tennessee troops to Natchez, Mississippi. When they arrived, Jackson was told that his men were not needed and that he should disband his group of soldiers. Jackson thought the orders were wrong and he defied them. Instead, he led his troops back home to Tennessee. In was in this march that Jackson earned the nickname “Old Hickory.” Due to the strict discipline maintained on the march, Jackson was perceived by his men as being “tough as hickory.”

John Kerry

John Kerry also has demonstrated the trait of going against the military establishment, when he thought military leaders were making bad decisions, or when standing orders were not in the best interest of his men.

One example involves his service as a Swift Boat commander. At one point, Kerry’s boat came under attack. Instead of returning fire with his vessel broadside to the enemy, which is standard operating procedure, Kerry ordered that the boat be turned directly toward the shore in the vicinity of fire, and he ordered his vessel to be beached. An enemy soldier who was about to fire a B-40 rocket launcher was surprised by the maneuver, did not have time to fire the rocket again and retreated into the jungle. Kerry jumped off the boat and chased the soldier into the jungle, killed him and in follow up action, his soldiers killed nine other of the enemy. For this action, Kerry was awarded the Silver Star.

After his second tour of duty in Vietnam, Kerry came to the conclusion that the war was a mistake. He became a spokesman for Vietnam Veterans Against the War. In this role, at 27 years of age, he testified before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in April, 1971, where he made the statement, “How do you ask a man to be the last man to die for a mistake?”

By understanding John Kerry’s past lifetime as Andrew Jackson, the accusations that Kerry “flip flopped” on the Vietnam War can be better understood. In both lifetimes, Jackson/Kerry showed an early and passionate willingness to serve his country though military service. In both lifetimes, he also demonstrated the trait of not following orders blindly and without thinking. When Jackson | Kerry determined that marching orders were wrong, he challenged military authority and did what he felt was the right thing to do in the given circumstances. This is not a trait of “flip flopping,” rather, it reflects intelligence, discrimination and the courage to stand up for what is just.

Trait of Optimism

Andrew Jackson was known for his optimism, a trait shared by John Kerry.

Involved in National Affairs at a time that the United States was attacked on its own Soil

5 Andrew Jackson John Kerry ReincarnationAndrew Jackson

Andrew Jackson was a military leader who helped expel the British, who had attacked the US in the War of 1812 and burned the White House in 1814.

John Kerry

John Kerry ran for US President at time when the destruction of the World Trade Center and the attack on the Pentagon represents the first time the US has been significantly attacked on its own soil since the War of 1812.

Studied Law & Became Prosecuting Attorneys at an Early Age

Andrew Jackson

Following the Revolutionary War, Andrew Jackson studied law and was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 1787, when he was 20 years old. Within a year, he became a prosecuting attorney in the Superior Court of Nashville, Tennessee. Jackson later served as a judge on the Supreme Court of Tennessee for a period of six years.

John Kerry

John Kerry graduated from Boston College Law School in 1976, two hundred years after the Declaration of Independence was signed. Kerry, mirroring the path of Jackson, became a prosecuting attorney as the First Assistant District Attorney of Middlesex County, Massachusetts. In this role, he helped place the number two organized crime figure in Massachusetts behind bars.

Parallel Congressional Careers

Andrew Jackson

Andrew Jackson ran for US Representative in 1796 and became the first Congressman from Tennessee, a state that had just been admitted to the Union. Jackson was subsequently elected as a US Senator from Tennessee.

John Kerry

John Kerry ran for US Representative from Massachusetts, though he failed to be elected. He later served as Lt. Governor for that state and subsequently was elected as a US Senator from Massachusetts.

Participated in Presidential Elections Following a “Stolen Election”

Andrew Jackson

Reincarnation Case Study John McCain Henry Clay Reincarnation Past LifeIn the election of 1824, Andrew Jackson ran for President of the United States and won the popular vote, but he did not have enough Electoral College votes to win the Presidency. The contest had to be decided in the House of Representatives. When Henry Clay, who has been identified as being reincarnated in the persona of John McCain, sided with John Quincy Adams (the son of John Adams), Adams prevailed in the House vote and became President. Since Jackson had won the popular vote but lost the presidential election, his supporters called the election of 1824 the “Stolen Election.” In the election of 1828, Jackson defeated John Quincy Adams and assumed the Presidency.

John Kerry

In the election of 2000, Al Gore was thought to have won the popular vote, but lost the election in the Electoral College, much like Andrew Jackson did in 1824. With this outcome, along with the controversy regarding the Florida vote, some have referred to the election of 2000 as a “Stolen Election.” If John Kerry had won the US Presidential election the of 2004, he would have repeated the pattern of assuming the Presidency following a “Stolen Election.” In contemporary times, the pattern was not repeated, as Kerry was not victorious.

Participated in Presidential Elections Involving Sons of Presidents

Andrew Jackson

In the election of 1824, Andrew Jackson ran against John Quincy Adams, the son of John Adams, the second President of the United States. When John Quincy defeated Jackson in the election of 1824, John Adams and John Quincy Adams became the first father and son to both serve as President of the United States. I proposed the reincarnation match between Napoleon and Jack Welch in 2004, which was confirmed by the spirit being Ahtun Re, who is channelled through trance medium Kevin Ryerson. I have worked with Kevin and Ahtun Re since 2001 and Ahtun Re has demonstrated the ability to make past life identificartions with a high degree of accuracy. This cases is included in my book Origin of the Soul and the Purpose of Reincarnation.

A supporter of ReincarnatoinResearch.com, Judith Shipstad, expressed particular interest in the Napoleon | Welch case, which upon further investigation stems from a past lifetime that she had with Napoleon, in which he served as an administrator for him. Judith, upon my request, wrote a brief analysis comparing Napoleon and Jack Welch. This narrative is provided below:

Past Life Correlations

“Yes, any number of things correspond between Jack Welch and Napoleon. Napoleon was a military and administrative genius who was trained as an artilleryman and came to power in a bloodless coup. Consider the quotes below:

‘Having been in the field, I had a strong prejudice against most of the headquarters staff.’

‘In those days, I was throwing hand grenades…’

‘We were playing as if our lives depended on it, diving into hedges and sweating bullets.’

‘It sent a clear message…Sergeants weren’t going to be shot while generals and colonels could continue on as if nothing happened.’

Remarkably, the above quotes are not Napoleon’s, but are lifted directly from Jack Welch’s biography. Notable for their military-oriented metaphors, these remarks were made in regard to Welch’s work at General Electric.

Both men demonstrated organizational ability, intelligence, energy, attention to detail, confidence, competitiveness and an ability to inspire others. As youngsters, both evinced a distaste for ‘being on the losing side.’

Napoleon aspired to wrest India from the British and reap for France the benefits of its acquisition. The expedition to Egypt was commenced with this same purpose in mind, but that goal was never realized. Welch, however, proudly relates that under his leadership, GE developed extensive business relations with India and found India to be a rich source of talent. I especially note the photo of Welch in India, thoughtfully clutching to his breast a journal titled India, as a prominent Indian colleague holds him in conversation. That picture is worth a million bucks–Napoleon indeed has finally conquered India!

Notable also is the photo of Welch from his autobiography which shows him in India meeting the Queen of England. Britain was the constant foe of France during Napoleon’s life. In this interesting turn of events, the former foe of England, Napoleon, in his contemporary incarnation as Welch, was presented to the Queen. He is shown in profile, and though few readers will be aware of it, they are seeing the virtual profile of Bonaparte.

Both men had mothers of strong character whom they fondly respected; both had three primary women in their lives. Napoleon had two marriages and a significant mistress, while Welch has had three wives.

Both men were slightly short of stature and had rather thin legs. Their hair lines were similar. Napoleon played a card game called whist; as a youngster, Welch played canasta with his mother.

Napoleon’s speaking voice was described as not deep, but well-modulated. Welch’s voice is not deep, and as for well-modulated I’m not sure–YouTube videos reveal that in his advanced age, his voice is a little hoarse, as though he has smoked too much. If Welch was a smoker, that would correspond with Napoleon’s well-known snuff habit.

As I look at the pictures of Welch with his chairmen of the board and golf buddies, I can’t help but feel I am looking at a karmic group. Those guys were probably the Marshals of France and First Empire generals.”

Principles of Reincarnation & Understanding Past Lives

Physical Resemblance from One Lifetime to Another: There is a similarity in the facial architecture of Napoleon and Jack Welch.

Past Life Talent: As Judith’s analysis describes, both Napoleon and Welch were born leaders. In Origin of the Soul, it is discussed that military leaders, as they progress spiritually, lean away from careers that involve violence and shift to leadership roles in business or politics.

Change of Nationality from One Incarnation to Another: Napoleon was French, while Welch was born in the United States. Understanding that we can change religion, nationality and ethnic affiliation from one lifetime to another can help create as more peaceful world, as most conflicts and wars are bases on differences in these cultural markers of identity.
