Past Life Story with Soul Plan, Renewal of Past Life Relationships & Geographic Past Life Memory: Muslim Reincarnation Case of Mehmet Cosmen | Suleyman Zeytun

A Soul Plan in Proximity Reincarnation Case that also exhibits a few inherent characteristics of the other types of reincarnation; the best example are those of split reincarnation. This is the reincarnation case of Mehet Cosmen who reincarnated in the child, Suleyman Zeytun who was born in the same village, just a few doors away from Mehet’s home.

The Drowning of Mehet Cosmen

IISIS4PastLifeRegressionTherapyTurkeyHorseMehet Cosmen was born around the year 1898 and worked as a farmer in the village of Kayish, in Turkey. Kayish is 20 kilometers or miles from the town of Adana, Turkey. In about the year 1938, when Mehet was 40 years old or so, Mehet was doing his usual chores around his farm. It was summertime and he was harvesting, thrashing and milling grain. In the process, horses used to perform these tasks became covered with dust and chaff from the grain.

Mehet would go to the River Seyhan to wash the dust from his horse. On one occasion, Mehet took his horse to be washed in an area of the river that is usually shallow. The level of the river, though, had risen and the spot where Mehet took his horse was deeper than expected. The horse became frightened and bit Mehet on the shoulder, who responded by placing a muzzle on the horse.

Mehet’s horse continued to struggle and pulled Mehet into deeper water, where both Mehet and the horse drowned. Mehet could not swim and when his body was discovered, he was found with his arms wrapped around a tree limb, apparently trying to use the limb to float to safety. As noted, it is thought that the year that Mehet drowned was 1938.

Soul Plan, Renewal of Relationships through Reincarnation & Geographic Past Life Memory: Suleyman visits his Past Life Home

IISIS4PastLifeRegressionTherapyTurkeyDeafBoySuleyman Zeytun was born deaf and mute around the year 1938 in the Turkish village of Kayish, the same village that Mehet Cosmen lived and died in. Suleyman’s parents were Ramazan Zeytun and his wife, Bedia. The exact date of Suleyman’s birth is not known.

The Zeytun family actually lived next door to the home of Mehet Cosmen, where his widow and surviving children still lived. Indeed, the house of Mehet Cosmen was only 30 meters from the Zeytun home.

As soon as he could walk, Suleyman would leave his house and go directly to the Cosmen home. Ian Stevenson noted that the Cosmen home was in the opposite direction from the center of the village.

Stevenson conjectured that if a child left the house to meet other people and observe activities in the village, the child would go towards the center of the village, rather than the opposite direction.

Nonetheless, Bedia, his mother, said that Suleyman walked to the Cosmen home “every day.” (1)

Soul Plan in Proximity Reincarnation Case

Please note that Mehmet reincarnating next door to his past life home demonstrates planning on the part of his soul. I term this type of case a Proximity Reincarnation Case, as a soul plans a future lifetime so they reincarnate geographically close to their past life family, so that a reunion with loved ones can be enacted through reincarnation.

Past Life Memories: Suleyman Describes his Past Life Drowning as Mehet Cosman

IISIS4PastLiferRegressionTherapyTurkeyAboyonahorseWhen Suleyman was barely able to walk and when he made one of his first journeys to the Cosmen’s home, he started to communicate through gestures about how Mehet Cosmen had died. From the Cosmen’s home, he would point in the direction of the River Seyhan to the spot where Mehet had drowned. Other gestures regarding the drowning, which Ian Stevenson observed, include the following:

1. Ian Stevenson noted that Suleyman would turn his hand in a circle with fingers pointing down to imitate the motion of a horse walking in a circle to move the grinding stone to crush grain.

2. Stevenson observed Suleyman holding his arms and hands parallel to one another to imitate the holding of reins, while leaning back to get the horse to go into the river.

3. Suleyman put his right hand on his shoulder and grasped his shoulder, to show that the horse bit him. Ian Stevenson noted that Suleyman would clinch and show his teeth to imitate the horse biting him.

4. Ian Stevenson then observed Suleyman using his right hand in a circular motion to imitate winding a muzzle cord around the mouth of the horse.

5. Suleyman held both hands in front of him as if holding the reins of the horse. He then would lean to the left and backwards with extended arms to imitate falling off the horse.

6. Ian Stevenson noted that Suleyman then put the fingers of his right hand into his mouth to show that he was swallowing water as he fell from the horse.

8. Suleyman the put his right hand around his throat to show that he was drowning.

At first, Suleyman’s family and the surviving family of Mehut Cosmen were unsure of what Suleyman was trying to communicate. Suleyman’s pointing out of the specific spot in the River Seyhan where Mehut had drowned, along with his pantomime consistent with the events which led to Mehut’s death, allowed the families to understand that Suleyman was conveying that he had been Mehut Cosmen in a past lifetime.

Past Life Memories & Possesions: Little Suleyman Claims that Mehet Cosmen’s Koran and a Buffalo are His

IISIS4PastLifeRegressionTherapyTurkeyKoranBetween the ages of two and three, Suleyman began making gestures trying to express that items in the Cosmen family home belonged to him. He then tried to take these items back with him to the Zeytun family home. As examples, he tried to walk away with the Cosmen family Koran, claiming it was his, and he tried to lead a buffalo from the Cosmen’s land to the home of the Zeytun family.

Past Life Emotions: Suleyman Gestures his Love for Members of the Cosmen Family

To the brother of Mehet Cosman, whose name was Saban, Suleyman put his two fingers together as a sign of closeness.

To Hatice Cosmen, the widow of Mehet, Suleyman would put his two fingers together as a sign of closeness and then point to his heart, apparently trying to show Hatice that they had been in love with one another.

Past Life Emotions: Little Suleyman’s Protection of Members of the Cosmen Family

IISIS4PastLiferRegressionTherapyTurkeyBuffaloMehmet Cosmen was very devoted to his wife, Hatice, and worked hard so that Hatice would not have to take a job outside their home. After his death, Hatice had to work for other people in the village, doing tasks such as baking bread. When Suleyman saw that Hatice was working for others, he became very upset, started crying and made gestures indicating that her working for others was wrong.

If Hatice would physically discipline her children, Suleyman would object. When Mehmet’s son, Abdullah, got into arguments with others, Suleyman would protest on his behalf.

Suleyman’s attachment to Mehmet’s family, which started at the age of three, continued until he was at least 29 years of age. Though Suleyman and his family eventually moved to the city of Adana, Suleyman would continue to visit the Cosman family in Kayish.

Suleyman would bring presents to Abdullah, Mehmet’s son. Ian Stevenson made the following poignant observation of Suleyman’s attachment to the daughters of Mehmet:

“He attended the weddings of Mehmet Cosmen’s daughters, crying at each like an affectionate father would do.” (2)

Refika, one of Mehmet’s married daughters, related that Suleyman would often visit her family in the Taurus region of Turkey and stay with them. This is reminiscent of the case of Rashid Khaddege | Daniel Jurdi, who visited his past life family on a monthly basis and also stayed with them, sleeping on a cot reserved for him. The Khaddege | Jurdi case also shows that facial features can remain consistent from one lifetime to another.

Suleyman also remained close to Mehet’s widow, Hatice, though their relationship was of a mother and son, rather than a married couple.

Past Life Phobia of Water

IISIS4PastLifeRegressionTherapyTurkeyHorseSuleyman had marked fear of water that persisted until he was at least 27 years of age. In contrast to his schoolmates, he refused to learn to swim in the river. He consistently demonstrated fear at the spot on the River Seyhan where Mehmet Cosmen had drowned.

Ian Stevenson, MD, of the University of Virginia, on the Validity of the Mehmet Cosmen | Suleyman Zeytun Reincarnation Case

Ian Stevenson made the point the Suleyman’s deafness serves to strengthen the validity of the case, as Suleyman could not have heard about the death of Mehmet Cosmen from the conversations of others. Suleyman began trying to communicate about his past lifetime as Mehmet long before he was taught to read or write.

Ian Stevenson, in his investigations, was always looking for ways that parents and other involved parties might coach children in testifying about claimed past lives. He was keen to expose any fraud in reincarnation cases.

Ian Stevenson noted that not only did Suleyman’s deafness exclude the possibility of learning about Mehmet’s death from verbal conversations, but it would make it very difficult for anyone to coach Suleyman to falsely claim a past lifetime. Further, Ian Stevenson noted that it would be even more difficult for someone to coach Suleyman to express sentimental emotions towards Mehmet’s family, such crying at the weddings of Mehmet’s daughters.

Was Suleyman’s Deafness and Muteness Karmic in Origin

IISIS4PastLifeRegressionTherapyTurkeyDeafBoyVillagers in Kayish wondered why Suleyman was born deaf and mute. They concluded that if his disabilities were related to karma, it could not have stemmed from the lifetime of Mehmet Cosmen, as all agreed that Mehmet led a pious life with no misdeeds. If the disabilities were related to karma, they reasoned, it must have due to actions in some other lifetime.

Ian Stevenson noted that Suleyman’s parents, Ramazan and Bedia, were cousins. Since they were of the same biologic family, recessive genes for these disabilities were able to be expressed. As such, Suleyman’s disabilities may have simply have been an issue of genetics.

Whether disabilities or misfortunes are related to karma from prior incarnations is an issue that needs to be better understood and presents a future challenge for those involved in reincarnation research.

Principles of Reincarnation & Understanding Past Lives

This reincarnation case demonstrates the following features:

Soul Plan, Proximity Reincarnation Case: Mehmet Cosmen appears to have reincarnated as Suleyman Zeytun next door to his own past life home in Kayish, Turkey. Though Mehmet did not technically reincarnate into the same family, he reincarnated into a family that gave him direct access to his past life family. I term types of cases “proximity cases,” as the soul reincarnated nearby its last incarnation in order to reconnect with loved ones.

Please note that reincarnating next door to one’s past life home to be reunited with loved ones involves planning by the soul from the spirit realm.

As soon as he could walk, Suleyman made his way to Mehmet’s former home and went on to renew relationships with past life family members. Ian Stevenson noted that Suleyman’s attachment to Mehmet’s children was so strong that at the weddings of Mehmet’s daughters, he wept like any affectionate father would.

As in all same family reincarnation cases, planning by the soul is involved. The soul of Mehmet Cosmen appears to have planned his next incarnation so that he would be born next door to his past life home, so that he could return to his past life family.

Phobia from a Past Incarnation: Mehmet died from drowning and Suleyman demonstrated a fear of water, particularly at the spot in the River Seyhan where Mehmet had drowned.

Change in Religion: It was noted that Suleyman claimed the Koran from the Cosmen home as his own and he tried to take it back to the Zeytun family home. This indicates that Mehmet Cosmen was a Muslim and was we recall, he was noted to be a very pious man.
Ian Stevenson does not specifically indicate what religion Suleyman and his family practiced, but it is safe to say that they developed a belief in reincarnation as Suleyman’s memories of his past lifetime as Mehmet Cosmen became known and validated.

Split Incarnation: Though the exact dates of Mehmet’s drowning and Suleyman’s birth are not known, Ramazan, Suleyman’s father, estimated that the interval between Mehet’s death and Suleyman’s birth was between five to ten days.

Ian Stevenson explained that the villagers of Kayish did not refer to calendars often, but they did remember significant events in their community. The drowning of a member of the village and the birth of a son are events that Ramazan would remember distinctly and as such, Stevenson thought Ramazan’s estimate was likely accurate.

If one assumes that the soul is involved in the development of the fetus and if the interval between Mehmet’s drowning and Suleyman’s birth was only 5-10 days, then the soul of Mehmet inhabited the developing fetus of Suleyman for essentially the entire time that Suleyman was in the womb. This soul was animating both Suleyman, who was in the womb, and Mehmet, who was still alive, for a period of nine months.

This same phenomenon was observed in the very important case of Hanan Monsour | Suzanne Ghanem, as Suzanne was born only 10 days after Hanan died. As such, Hanan was alive almost the entire time that Suzanne was in the womb, indicating that the soul of these two women were animating two bodies at one time. The Monour | Ghanem case also demonstrates that facial features can remain consistent from one lifetime to another.

This phenomenon of a soul inhabiting more than one body at a time has been termed split incarnation. One of the most dramatic examples of split incarnation is found in the very compelling cases involving Penney Peirce. Penney’s soul appears to have inhabited the bodies of two of her past incarnations, those of Alice Cary and Charles Parkhurst, where these two past lives overlapped by 29 years.

Why does the soul incarnate in more than one body at a time? One major reason is to get more accomplished, including working off of karma and participating in projects that are important to the soul. It is also possible that the soul is aware of a destined event, such as an upcoming death, and begins another incarnation to continue its work or to maintain attachments with loved ones

Ahmet Delibalta’s Nightclub, Bakery & Muslim Wife

iisis4pastliferegressiontherapyturkeycrashAhmet Delibalta was born in Adana, Turkey, in 1936. He married a woman named Mihriban and had three children with her. Ahmet also took a second wife, Fehime, a Turk who was an orthodox Muslim.

Ahmet owned a nightclub in Adana called “Havuz” and running this club was his passion. Havuz provided Ahmet with a very good income and he was able to afford a large and well-appointed house. Ahmet also owned a bakery in Adana.

Ahmet Freezes to Death after a Plane Crash

In 1962 he went to Istanbul to find a female singer for his nightclub. His second wife, Fehime, was pregnant when he left for this two week business trip. In Istanbul, Ahmet chose a woman named Rengin Arda as his singer. On March 8, 1962, he was bringing Rengin back to Adana by airplane. IISIS4PastLifeRegressionTherapyTurkeyMountain1Unfortunately, the Turkish Airlines airplane they were on crashed in the snow-covered Toros Mountains. It was thought the passengers died on impact.

The investigation that followed, though, revealed that the plane had landed in soft snow, but in a very remote area, which meant that rescuers could not reach the downed plane for several days. Passengers who survived the crash, including Ahmet, froze to death. Ahmet was about 35 years old when he died.

In Error, A Jewish Man’s Body is Received by Ahmet’s Family

In recovering bodies from the crash, a mistake was made in identifying Ahmet’s body. Initially, the body of another passenger, who was Jewish, was identified as Ahmet. This occurred when Ahmet’s younger brother declined to view the body itself, as it was too emotionally distressing for him. Instead, he asked to be shown clothing from the body. Mistakenly, he identified the clothing from the Jewish man as the clothing that belonged to Ahmet. The body of the Jewish man was then buried in a cemetery under the name of Ahmet Delibalta.

The error was subsequently discovered when the rest of the bodies were brought down from the mountain. One of the bodies had the Ahmet’s identify card on it. The body of the Jewish man who was mistakenly buried as Ahmet had to be exhumed and buried elsewhere.

Soul Plan: An Announcing Dream

Latife Kilic lived in Adana, Turkey, with her husband Yusuf. A week before Ahmet Delibalta’s plane crashed, she had a dream. In this dream, Ahmet Delibalta appeared, who Latife only knew by sight, not by acquaintance. In the dream, Ahmet gave her a gift and then laid down on the bed between Latife and Yusef. When she woke, Latife asked her husband:

“What does that nightclub man want at our place?” (1)

Latife was pregnant and near term. Yusuf interpreted the dream to mean that they would have a boy. Approximately two weeks later, Latife did have a boy, which we will see appears to have indeed been the reincarnation of Ahmet Delibalta.

Past Life Phobia: Erkan Kilic is Born with an Intense Fear of Airplanes

Turboprop airplaneErkan Kilic was born in Adana, Turky, around the day of March 13, 1962, just a few days after the airplane crash that killed Ahmet Delibalta. As noted, his parents were Yusuf Kilic and his wife, Latife, who were Arabs. Erkan was one of 15 children born to Latife and Yusuf. Yusuf worked for his nephew, Zekeriya Kilic, who owned a business selling electrical equipment. Yusef and Latife were relatively poor.

Before Erkan could even speak, he demonstrated a great fear of airplanes, which was triggered by seeing an airplane or by hearing their engines. Upon these occasions, Erkan would run to his mother or hide under his bed. This phobia lasted until he was three years of age.

Phobias from past life traumas are common in reincarnation cases. In the case of Rashid Khaddege | Daniel Jurdi, Daniel had a phobia of fast moving cars, which resulted from his death as Rashid Kaddege in an automobile accident. In the case of Anne Frank | Barbro Karlen, Barbro had a fear of men in uniform, stemming from Anne Frank’s persecution by Nazi’s. Both the Kaddege | Jurdi and Frank | Karlen cases show that facial features can remain the same from lifetime to lifetime. The Anne Frank | Barbro Karlen case demonstrates that one can change religion and nationality from one incarnation to another.

Past Life Memories: Erkan Tells Latife that He is Ahmet Delibalta & She is Not his Real Mother

Erkan began to talk when he was between two and three years of age,. As soon as he could speak, he told Latife that she was not his mother. He asked to be taken to his real mother and to his wife. Erkan also said that his real name was Ahmet Delibalta and that he had a nightclub called “Havuz,” as well as a bakery. As noted, Erkan’s parents knew who Ahmet Delibalta was and of his death in a plane crash, but they denied having any personal acquaintance with Ahmet.

The phenomenon of a child telling the biologic mother that she is not the child’s real mother, along with the demand by the child to be taken to their real mother, is common in reincarnation cases studied by Ian Stevenson. As another example, in the case of Anne Frank | Barbro Karlen, little Barbro also told her parents that they were not her real parents and that their home was not her real home. Barbro informed her biologic parents that her real parents would soon come to get her and take her back to her real home.

Past Life Memories: Erkan Describes his Death as Ahmet Delibalta

IISIS4PastLifeRegressionTherapyTurkeyFreezeWhen Erkan was two to three years old, he reported details of his death in a past lifetime. He told his mother, Latife, that he had gone to Istanbul to find a singer for his nightclub. On the way back from Istanbul, their plane crashed in the Toros mountains.

Little Erkan also knew that he, as Ahmet, did not die in the crash of the plane. Rather, Erkan said that he died later by freezing to death. Ian Stevenson was particularly impressed by this statement made by Erkan, as everyone associated with this reincarnation case thought that all the victims had died on impact. Only those very familiar with the investigation of the crash knew that some passengers, including Ahmet Delibalta, did survive the crash and later froze to death.

Spirit Being in Reincarnation Case: Ahmet, from the Spirit World, Observes Recovery of his Body

Erkan also knew that his body was confused with that of a Jewish man who was also on the plane. Ahmet’s brothers reported that the Delibalta family was very embarrassed about this incident and tried to keep it secret. As such, the confusion regarding the bodies was not well-known outside the immediate family. As such, how could Erkan, as a child, know this detail?

Erkan’s knowledge of the confusion about the identity of the bodies also implies that after his death, Ahmet was able to observe the recovery of bodies and the chain of events that led to the wrong body being buried in Ahmet’s grave. As such, this represents an example of spirit being involvement in a reincarnation case.

Past Life Memories: Erkan Identifies Past Life Family Members

When Erkan was two to three years old, he made accurate statements regarding the names of his past life family. He said that in his lifetime as Ahmet, his father was named Yunus, his mother Emine, his sons Veysel and Ali, his daughter Aysel, his sister Turkan and his mother-in-law Katibe. All these statements were correct.

Erkan also reported that his wife’s name was Mihriban and that he had another wife named Fehime. Erkan said the he preferred Mihriban over Fehime, which was verified by Ahmet’s brother-in-law.

Erkan was also able to identify members of Ahmet Delibalta’s family from photographs. He correctly identified Ahmet’s wife, Mihriban, and two of Ahmet’s children, Veysel and Aysel, in these photos. It is not clear whether Erkan had already met Mihriban when he saw these pictures, but Ian Stevenson found the identification of Veysel and Aysel, as small children, as impressive.

Geographic Past Life Memory: Erkan Finds his Way to his to Wife, Mihriban, and his Past Life Home

IISIS4PastLifeRegressionTherapyTurkeyHouseWhen Erkan was two to three years old, he expressed a desire to visit places from his past lifetime as Ahmet. On his own, he walked to the home of Ahmet Delibalta, which was 200 meters away from the Kilic home. Ahmet’s widow, Mihriban, was still living there. There, Erkan introduced himself to Mihriban.

Later on, when Latife was with Mihriban and Mihriban’s sister-in-law, Latife asked who his wife in his past lifetime was. Without any hesitation, Erkan correctly pointed to Mihriban.

On another occasion, Erkan had completely disappeared from the Kilic home, which caused a panic. His parents later found him in the Ahmet Delibalta’s home, with Ahmet’s first wife, Mihriban.

After Erkan found the Delibalta home, he went there on his own often and would stay sometimes until 10 or 11 at night. A Kilic family member had to go to retrieve him. Latife, Erkan’s mother, found Erkan’s frequent visits to the Delibalta’s home so annoying that she started to beat him to prevent him from going there.

When Mihriban would take her children to visit her sister, who lived in a house across the street from the Kilic family, Erkan would climb on the roof and watch them. When asked what he was doing, Erkan explained that he was “watching his wife and children.” Ian Stevenson noted that Erkan repeatedly was observed to climb on the roof to watch Mihriban and her children. (2)

Geographic Past Life Memory: Erkan Finds the Apartment of Fehime, his Past Life Second Wife

IISIS4PastLifeRegressionTherapyTurkeyAdanaOne day, Erkan insisted to Latife, his mother, that he wanted to visit Fehime. Latife knew that Fehime lived in the same apartment building as her physician, so she took Erkan there and went to the physician’s door, hoping he could direct them to where Fehime lived. The physician was not home.

Erkan then led Latife to another door in the apartment building and knocked on it. Fehime answered. Latife then introduced herself. Fehime had heard about Erkan’s claims to be the reincarnation of Ahmet.

Fehime then asked Erkan, “Do you recognize me?” (3)

Erkan replied: “You are Fehime.” (4)

Fehime then asked, “What relation am I to you?” (5)

Erkan replied: “You are my wife.” (6)

Fehime then introduced Erkan to a small girl who was in the apartment. She asked Erkan if he knew who she was.

Erkan replied: “How could I recognize her since you were pregnant and suffering labor pains?” (7)

Ahmet, as a Spirit Being, Observes Fehime in Labor

Fehime had delivered her daughter two days after Ahmet’s plane crashed in the Toros Mountains. Ahmet, did not die in the crash, though it is not known how long he lived after the crash. Whether he was dead or alive, it appears that his soul was able to observe Fehime going into labor.

Geographic Past Life Memory: Erkan Finds his Past Life Mother & Bakery

IISIS4PastLifeRegressionTherapyTurkeyBakeryAgain, when Erkan was only two to three years old, he asked his mother, Latife, if he could go visit his mother from his prior lifetime as Ahmet. Erkan said:

“I can show you the way to my mother’s place.” (8)

Latife allowed him to try to find the way and she followed him to see where he would go. Erkan led his mother on a 200 meter walk directly to the home of Ahmet’s mother, which was next door to the bakery that Ahmet had owned.

Once Erkan found the bakery, he would repeatedly visit it and claim that he owned the bakery. One baker came to believe that Erkan was indeed the reincarnation of Ahmet Delibalta and gave him a loaf of bread. The worker invited Erkan to return whenever he wanted more bread.

Geographic Past Life Memory in Reincarnation Cases

Many reincarnation cases feature the phenomenon of a child remembering the way to a past life home. As an example, in the case of Anne Frank | Barbro Karlen, at ten years of age Barbro was able to lead her parents on a 10 minute walk from their hotel in Amsterdam directly to the Anne Frank House, even though Barbro had never been in Amsterdam before.

Other such cases can be found in the section entitled: Geographic Memory

Past Life Memory: Erkan Recognizes the Singer from Istanbul from a Photograph

IISIS4PastLifeRegressionTherapyTurkeySingerRengin Arda, the singer who died with Ahmet on the way back from Istanbul, had been in Adana once before. A German hairdressing she went to had a photograph taken with Regin on this prior visit. When the hairdresser heard about Erkan’s claim that he was Ahmet reincarnated, the hairdresser came to the Kulic home to do her own test.

The hairdresser had everyone sit down and be silent. She then brought out her photograph and showed it to Erkan. She then asked who the women in photo were.

Erkan replied: “You and the singer.” (9)

The hairdresser then asked Erkan the name of the singer. He replied promptly: “Rengin Arda.” (10)

Ian Stevenson noted that this was a significant identification, as Erkan’s parents themselves did not know the name of the singer.

Past Life Behavior: Erkan plays Nightclub Owner, a Past Life Passion

iisis4pastliferegressiontherapyturkeybarAs a child, Erkan liked to pretend that he owned a nightclub. Ian Stevenson wrote:

“Erkan greatly enjoyed playing that he was the proprietor of a nightclub. He arranged boxes to represent a bar and put bottles on them. He assigned roles to the neighborhood girls and gave one a stick to hold to represent a microphone held by the singer. On one occasion, Erkan was observed setting out two chairs for the wives of Ahmet, Mihriban and Fehime.” (11)

“Latife Kilic had the impression from watching Erkan playing the game of ‘nightclub’ that he preferred Mihriban to Fehime. Erkan himself said quite frankly in 1970 that he (in his previous life) preferred Mihriban to Fehime.” (12)

As noted previously, Latife’s observation and Erkan’s statement that Ahmet preferred Mihriban was confirmed by Ahmet’s brother in law, Ihsan Ozbicer.

Erkan’s early fascination with playing nightclub can be seen as a talent or passion that stems from a past incarnation. Many other reincarnation cases involve children and adults who demonstrate talents or interests from past incarnations.

Past Life Memory: Erkan Identifies his Watch from his Past Lifetime

When Erkan was fours year old, he said that as Ahmet, he and a friend named Mithat exchanged watches and that Mithat still had his watch. He also said that the watch had teeth marks on it.

Ahmet Delibalta did have a friend named Mithat Goksal, who was contacted regarding Erkan’s claim. Mithat confirmed that he and Ahmet had exchanged watches in Mithat’s office. Mithat thought it was extremely unlikely that anyone other than he and Ahmet could have known about this exchange. Ian Stevenson examined the watch and found that there were indeed teeth marks on the watch case, which, it was learned, had been made by Ahmet’s children.

Past Life Memory: Erkan Recalls Stealing a Tray

Erkan said that as Ahmet, he once stole a tray from his parent’s home. Erkan said that he stole the tray to get money to go to a football game and that he sold the tray for 25 kurus.

This incident was later confirmed by Ahmet’s friend, Selim Ozel, who was an accomplice to the theft. Selim and Ahmet indeed wanted to go to a football game, but Ahmet did not have enough money for a ticket. He stole the tray and sold it for 25 kurus to get into the football game. This occurred when Ahmet was 15 years old, 20 years before his death.

When Selim Ozel met Erkan, as a test he asked if anyone else went with them to the football game. Erkan said there was a third boy named Tevfic who went with them, which Selim verified as correct.

Ian Stevenson pointed out that only three people knew of this incident, Ahmet, Selim and Tevfic. Similarly, the exchange of watches was only known by Ahmet and Mithat. By reporting details from Ahmet’s life that are so obscure, it is hard to imagine how Erkan could have known this information except through reincarnation and past life memories.

Relationships Renewed through Reincarnation: As a Child, Erkan Plays with his Own Past Life Son

Erkan became friends with one of the sons of Ahmet Delibalta, whose name was Ali. Erkan and Ali would make so much noise in their play that Latife, Erkan’s mother, would try to send Ali away. Erkan would than stop her, stating that Ali was “my son.” (13)

Latife then gave in and let them play. A neighbor noted that Erkan would embrace Ali more like a parent than a playmate.

Principles of Reincarnation & Understanding Past Lives

Geographic Past Life Memory: Between the ages of two and three, Erkat was able to find his way to his past life home, where he and his past life wife, Mihriban, lived. In addition, he was able to find the apartment where his other past life wife, Fehime, lived. Erkat was also able, on his own, to find the house where his past life mother lived.

Geographic memory was also dramatically demonstrated in the Anne Frank | Barbro Karlen reincarnation case, as Barbro at the age of ten was able to find Anne Frank House, without directions, on her first trip to Amsterdam.

Another case involving geographic memory involves neurosurgeon Norm Shealy, MD, PhD, who intuitively was led to the location where he practiced medicine in nineteenth century England, in his past lifetime as John Elliotson.

Renewal of Relationships through Reincarnation: Ahmet Delibalta reincarnated as Erkan Kulic in the same section of Adana that he had lived in his previous life. As such, this gave Ahmet easy access to his past life family.

Erkan enjoyed the company of his past life family so much that his mother tried to prevent him from going to Mihriban’s house. In an especially poignant feature of this story, Erkan became friends with his own past life son, Ali. Erkan and Ali played together joyfully.

Please note that reincarnating in a way that allows reunion with past life family members involves planning by the soul.

Past Life Phobia: Erkan had a great fear of airplanes. When he saw or heard a plane, he would run to his mother or dive under his bed for safety. In his past lifetime, Erkan had died following a plane crash.

Spirit Beings in Reincarnation Case: This reincarnation case demonstrates the involvement of spirit beings in several ways. Ahmet appears to have been able to observe the airplane crash scene after his death, as Erkan knew about how his body was confused with the body of a Jewish man, who was mistakenly buried in Ahmet’s grave.

Erkan also made the statement that his wife, Fehime, was in labor during the crash. Fehime gave birth two days after Ahmet’s plane went down. As Ahmet did not die in the crash, but froze after the plane landed in soft snow, it seems quite possible that Ahmet died while Fehime was in labor.

Another example of spirit beings involves the announcing dream that Latife, Erkan’s mother, had. In this dream, Ahmet Delibalta appeared, gave her a gift and then laid down between her and her husband. It appears that from the spirit world, the soul of Ahmet was communicating to Latife that he would be born to her. Two weeks later, Ahmet indeed appears to have been born to her as Erkan.

Split Incarnation or Parallel Lives: Erkan Kilic was born only a few days after Ahmet Delibalta died. If the assumption is made that the soul is involved in the development of the fetus, which will be discussed in the section on Soul Evolution, then the soul of Ahmet was involved with the fetus of Erkan for the entire nine months of gestation, while Ahmet was still alive.

This same phenomenon was also observed in the very important case of Hanan Monsour | Suzanne Ghanem, as Susan was born only ten days after Hanan had died following heart surgery. The Monsour | Ghanem case also shows that facial features can remain the same from one lifetime to another.

The phenomenon of a soul inhabiting more than one body at a time has been termed split incarnation. One wonders whether in cases such as Hanan Monsour and Ahmet Delibalta, the soul knows of a predestined fatal event and begins another incarnation in anticipation of letting go of the other.

Reincarnation Case of Mithilesh Singh | Rajani Singh Past Life Case Involving Suicide, Same Family Incarnation, Reincarnation Birthmarks & Physical Resemblance

A new life reclaimed after a death by suicide of Mithilesh Singh who reincarnated in the same family as Rajani observed to exhibit the same behavior as Mithilesh. A noticeable physical resemblance and demonstrations of similar phobias between the two were also noted.

The Life of Mithilesh Singh

5 Reincarnation Suicide Case Taj MahalMithilesh Singh was born in Agra, India, the home of the Taj Mahal. in the year 1975. Her mother’s name was Rajwati Devi Singh and her father, who was employed in a government job, was Navratan Singh. Mithilesh had 3 siblings, including a younger sister, Meena, who Mithilesh was very close to. Mithilesh was also very fond of a maternal aunt, whose name was Ganga Bai.

Of the family’s children, Mithilesh was the only one who did not do well at school. To help her pass her high school final examinations, her parents sent her to live with a family member, Virender Singh, who was an older cousin to Mithilesh living in Bhalaul, India. The plan was that a family member in Bhalaul, who worked as a teacher at a local college, would serve as a tutor for Mithilesh. Virender was married to a woman name Bimla. Virender’s mother, Shakuntala, who had a very domineering personality, was also in the household.

Mithilesh Falls in Love with a Boy of a Lower Caste

Mithilesh was not happy living with Virender’s family in Bhalaul. She was afraid of Shakuntala and felt sorry for Bimla, who had to put up with her difficult mother-in-law. Mithilesh became very fond of Bimla.

Ironically, Mithilesh herself was known to be very headstrong and stubborn. A serious problem arose when Mithilesh became romantically involved with a boy in Bhalaul, who her family disapproved of due to his being in a lower caste. Mithilesh became depressed about her situation.

Mithilesh Commits Suicide

5 Reincarnation Suicide Case A Blazing FireRajwati Devi, Mithilesh’s mother, and, Ganga Bai, her aunt, came to visit her in Bhalaul in early October 1991. After the three returned from a ride in a pony cart, Mithilesh poured kerosene on her head and ignited the fluid, setting herself on fire. Mithilesh then ran to Bimla for assistance. Bimla was pregnant at the time and was terrified at the sight of Mithilesh running at her ablaze. Bimla, protecting herself, pushed Mithilesh away.

The family eventually extinguished the flames and took Mithilesh to the nearest health center, where she died. Her burns were most extensive on her head, but almost her entire body was affected, with only her waist and feet being spared. The date of Mithilesh’s death was October 6, 1991. She was 16 years old when she died.

Spiritual Communication: Rajwati Devi has a Reincarnation Announcing Dream

Within a month of Mithilesh’s suicide, her mother, Rajwati Devi, had a dream that Mithilesh would be returning to their family. On November 16, 1991, about 5 weeks after Mithilesh’s death, Bimla Singh delivered a baby girl, who Virender and Bimla, named Rajani.

Reincarnation Birthmarks of Rajani Singh

A few days after Rajani was born, her mother and paternal grandmother noticed red marks on her head. Within a month of being born, they noticed red marks on the rest of Rajani’s body, though the marks on her head were most prominent. At this point Rajwati Devi Singh, the mother of Mithilesh, came to see Rajani. Given the red marks on the body and her dream that Mithilesh would be returning to their family, Rajwati Devi suspected that Rajani was the reincarnation of Mithilesh.

When she learned to talk, Rajani asked to see Meena, the younger sister of Mithilesh. In contrast, she was instinctively afraid of Shakuntala, as was Mithilesh.

Past Life Memories: Rajani Insists She is Mithilesh & Reclaims her Past Life Parents

When Rajani was 4 years old, in November 1995, she was taken to the home of Navratan and Rajwati Devi Singh. Rajani demonstrated familiarity with the place and with Mithilesh’s family members. In particular, Rajani showed affection for Ganga Bai, Mithilesh’s favorite aunt.

Rajani at times insisted that she be called Mithilesh and she stated that her father was Navratan and that her mother was Rajwati Devi. She addressed the couple, who were the parents of Mithilesh, as “papa” and “mummy.”

Past Life Physical Resemblance & Similar Personality Traits

It was noted that there was a similarity in facial features between Mithilesh and Rajani, including large eyes. Personality traits were also consistent, as Rajani was stubborn and would get upset if she did not get her way, much like Mithilesh.

Dr. Pasricha studied this case from December 1992 through December 1995, directly observing the birthmarks Rajani had, including an area on the right side of her head which was without hair and lighter in color that the rest of her skin. Dr. Pasricha also noted red areas present on Rajani’s shoulders and back. The other red marks on Rajani’s body that were present just after she was born had faded by 1995.

Principles of Reincarnation & Understanding Past Lives

Parallel Lives or Split ReincarnationPhysical Resemblance in Reincarnation Cases: It was noted that Mishilesh and Rajani had similar facial features, including large eyes. Though physical resemblance is noted in reincarnation cases, since Rajana reincarnated to relatives of Mishilesh, genetic factors may also have contributed to their similarity in appearance.

Relationships Renewed through Reincarnation: Mishilesh was fond of her relative Bimla Singh and reincarnated as Bimla’s daughter, Rajani, indicating that the soul can plan incarnations.

Reincarnation Birthmarks: Shortly after her birth, Rajani demonstrated birthmarks that appear to reflect burn scars incurred on the body of Mishilesh.

Split Incarnation: Rajani was born only 5 weeks after Mishilesh died. If the soul is involved in the developed of the fetus, then the soul of Mishilesh also inhabited Rajani as a fetus for about 8 months of her gestation. I do believe that the soul is involved in the development of the fetus, as similarity in physical appearance is observed in reincarnation cases, which would occur through the influence of the soul. The way the soul can shape physical appearance is discussed in the section: Principles of Reincarnation

Reincarnation and Suicide: Mishilesh committed suicide, but reincarnated into the same family, indicating that suicide does not end the progression of the soul. It is likely that Mishilesh incurred karma from the grief she caused others due to her suicide, which will need to be worked out in subsequent incarnations. In addition, Rajani will need to face similar situations as Mishilesh did, but hopefully Rajani will not act out in the same way. For a more detailed discussion on implications of suicide, please go to: Suicide Reincarnation Case of Ruprecht Schultz

Why would the soul of Mishilesh inhabit a second body while Mishilesh was still alive? It is possible that Mishilesh’s soul anticipated the problems associated with her personality and the possibility that her life would be short. As such, Mishilesh’s soul took the opportunity to have another incarnation with Bimla as the mother, who Mishilesh was fond of.

Blanche Bautista Reincarnation Story: A Lullaby from a Past Lifetime

A same family reincarnation research case of Dr. Ian Stevenson tinged with a touch of Xenoglossy. A little girl named Blanche reincarnated as her younger sister who is also named Blanche and at age 5 the second Blanche started singing a French lullaby which a former French servant had sung to the first Blanche.

Same Family Reincarnation and a Case of Xenoglossy-Language from a Past Life

This case demonstrates that people can reincarnate within the same family. It also represents a case of xenoglossy, for as a child, Blanche Bautista recited a song in French, a language she did not learn by normal means. In addition, a physical resemblance was noted from one incarnation to another.

Blanche of Italy

IISISReincarnationResearchStPetersFlornida Bautista was a captain in the Italian army. He and his wife lived in Rome, pictured to the right, where they had a child named Blanche. They had a domestic servant from Switzerland named Mary, who only spoke French.

Mary sang a French lullaby to Blanche to put her to sleep. Blanche eventually learned to sing this French lullaby. Unfortunately, Blanche died in 1902 when she was only 2 years old. After Blanche died, Mary left the family and went back home to Switzerland

Blanche Communicates from the Spirit Realm

Three years later, Signora Bautista, Flornida’s wife, was pregnant again. When she was three months pregnant, Signora Bautista had a vision in which she received a message that Blanche was returning to the family.

Captain Flornida Bautista explained that in August 1905, he and his wife were lying in bed, fully awake. He then said that his wife reported seeing a figure who appeared to be their little daughter, Blanche.

In the vision, the little girl joyfully said, “Mama, I am coming back.” The figure then disappeared. (1)

Blanche Reincarnates & Sings a Past Life French Lullaby

IISISReincarnationResearchSingA baby girl was born in February 1906, who was also named Blanche. The parents noted that the second Blanche looked very similar to the first, with dark, round eyes and curly black hair.

At the age of five, the second Blanche started singing the French lullaby that was previously taught to the first Blanche by the family’s former servant, Mary. This French lullaby had not been sung or heard in their home for nine years. No one around the second Blanche knew or spoke French.

When her parents asked who taught her the French lullaby, the second Blanche stated, “No one, I just know it by myself.” She then continued singing the lullaby. (2)

Principles of Reincarnation & Understanding Past Lives

Recitative Xenoglossy: This case demonstrates what Ian Stevenson, MD termed recitative xenoglossy, where an individual can speak or recite a language that has not been learned by normal means.

Responsive xenoglossy, in contrast, involves an individual who not only can recite a unlearned language, but also respond and converse in the unlearned language.

Relationships Renewed through Reincarnation: This case shows that people can reincarnate within the same family, presumably bound by emotional and karmic ties.

Physical Resemblancee: Flornida and Signora Bautista noticed a clear resemblance between Blanche 1 and 2. This could, of course, be attributed to genetic factors. Images of the two girls, unfortunately, are unavailable.

Spirit Being Involvement: This case provides evidence of spirit beings, as it appears that the spirit of the first Blanche came to Signora Bautista and communicated that she would be born to her parents again.

Please note that image provided above is not an actual photo of Blanche Bautista, but a dramatization.

Child Reincarnation Story of Alessandrina Samona 1 and 2

A child Alessandrina died of meningitis at a very young age of 5, who later reincarnated as her younger sister. A reincarnation research case showing proof of reincarnation within the same family by Dr. Ian Stevenson, MD.

How Derived: Past Life Memories in Childhood, Spirit Being Guidance, Similarities in Appearance and Behavior

Researcher: Carmelo Samona, MD

From: European Cases of the Reincarnation Type, by Ian Stevenson, MD

Article by Walter Semkiw, MD from Born Again: Reincarnation Cases Involving Evidence of Past Lives with Xenoglossy Cases Researched by Ian Stevenson

Alessandrina Dies of Meningitis

ReincarnationEviidenceBabyCamelo Samona was a medical physician in Palermo, Italy, who in 1911 published a report regarding a reincarnation case involving his daughter, Alessandrina. Carmelo’s wife’s name was Adele and in addition to their daughter, they had three sons.

Alessandrina contracted meningitis at the age of about 5 and she died on March 15, 1910.

From the Spirit Realm, Alessandrina Communicates through a Dream

Three days after Alessandrina’s death, her mother, Adele, had a dream of her dead daughter who said.

“Mother, do not cry, I have not left you, only withdrawn. Look! I am going to become small like this.” In the dream, Alessandria then made a gesture to indicate the size of a baby. She then said, “You will have to suffer again for me.” (1)

As a Spirit, Alessandrina Knocks on the Door

IISISReincarnationKnockDoor

Three days later, Adele had the same dream. A few days after these dreams, Camelo and Adele both heard three loud knocks at their door. Their three sons also heard the knocks. The family opened the door, but no one was there.

On April 10, 1910, less than a month after Alessandrina had died, Adele realized she was pregnant. Due to the dreams and the knocks on the door, Camelo and Adele decided to participate in séances, hoping to better understand what was going on.

Alessandrina Communicates from the Spirit World

On May 4, 1910, Camelo and Adele participated in a mediumistic seance. In these sessions, a medium would pass on information from deceased individuals, souls in the spirit world, to the human beings who participated in the séance. Often times, deceased relatives of participants would communicate through the medium.

In a seance, Alessandrina came through and said that she had caused the there knocks on the door to draw attention to herself. She told her parents that she was coming back and that she would be born before Christmas. She said she would be very similar to before. She repeatedly said that she wanted all her family and friends to know that she was returning. Alessandrina said this so many times that Carmelo found it annoying.

ReincarnationEviidenceTwinsIn the seances, Adele and Camelo were also told that a second soul was around them and that this soul would be born with Alessandrina. In other words, Adele would have twins.

Through the medium, Alessandrina also told Adele and Camelo that after the third month of pregnancy, Alessandrina would not be able to communicate through the séances as she would be more attached to matter and as a result, would be sleeping.

Prophecies Come True & Reincarnation with Physical Resemblance

In August 1910, an obstetrician determined that Adele was indeed pregnant with twins. On November 22, 1910, twin girls were born. Adele and Camelo immediately realized that one of the girls bore an uncanny resemblance to Alessandrina. Due to the physical resemblance, they also called this girl Alessandrina, who we will refer to as Alessandrina 2. They named the other fraternal twin girl Maria. We will refer to the deceased daughter as Alessandrina 1.

ReincarnationEvidenceBarber

Adele and Camelo noted marked similarities in appearance and behavior between Alessandrina 1 and 2, which contrasted with the appearance and behavior of Maria. When the girls where two and a half years old, Camelo published a report outlining these similarities and differences. They include the following.

Alessandrina 1 & 2 Have the Same Personality Traits & Reincarnation Phobias of Loud Noises & Barbers

At birth, Alessandrina 1 and 2 both had redness in the left eye, a rash called seborrhea behind the right ear and slight facial asymmetry. Maria did not have these features.

As toddlers, Alessandrina 1 and 2 were both quiet and liked to sit quietly in their mother’s lap. They didn’t like to play with toys, but they did like to play with other children. Maria, in contrast, was restless and liked to be on her own, playing with toys.

Alessandrina 1 and 2 had phobias of loud noises and of barbers, and they both disliked any cheese. They liked to fold and smooth clothing and cloth, such as sheets and towels. They both liked to play with shoes and put adult shoes on. Maria didn’t have phobias of noise or barbers and she liked cheese. She didn’t like to fold cloth or play with shoes.

Alessandrina 1 and 2 tended to speak in the third person. When fearful, they would say, “Alessandrina is afraid. (2) They also like to create pet names. For example, Aunt Cateria became Caterana. (3). They were both left handed, became interested in spiritual matters, but avoided housework.

Maria, in contrast, did not speak in the third person, didn’t modify names, was right-handed (like all the other family members) and wasn’t interested in spiritual affairs, but she did like housekeeping.

Photographs Confirm Alessandrina 1 & 2 Reincarnation Resemblance

5iisisalessandrinasamonareincarnationIn his report, Camelo published photos comparing Alessandrina 1 when she was almost 4 years old to Alessandrina 2 and Maria when the twins were 2 years old. The images showed that indeed, Alessandrina 1 and 2 both had the same facial asymmetry, in that the left eye was significantly closer to the midline than the right. The folds of the eyelids were similarly asymmetric. Adele thought that in physical appearance, Alessandrina 2 matched Alessandrina 1 “perfectly,” except that 1 was darker in complexion. (4)

Alessandrina 2 Remembers the Past Life Visit of Alessandrina 1 to the Church in Monreale & the Priests Who Wore Red

Camelo also reported a past life memory that Alessandrina 2 had when she was 8 or 9 years old. Camelo and Adele proposed to their children that they take a vacation trip to the city of Monreale, where they would tour the great Norman church in that city. Adele said to their girls:

“When you go to Monreale, you will see some sights you have never seen before.”

Alessandrina 2 then responded:

“But Mama, I know Monreale. I have already seen it.” (5)

Adele then told her daughter that she had never been to Monreale. Alessandriana 2 then protested:

IISISReincarnationEviidenceMonreale“Yes I have. I have been there. Don’t you remember that there is a great church there with a huge man on the roof with his arms spread out? And do you not remember how we went there with a lady who had horns, and we met some small priests who wore red?” (6)

Adele and Camelo were stunned by their daughter’s response. They did not recall ever speaking to her about Monreale and they were puzzled by her reference to a woman who had horns.

Adele then remembered that a few months before Alessandriana 1’s death, they had taken to her to Monreale to see the church there. On this trip, they had taken a female friend who had a skin condition that involved prominent, protruding lesions or bumps on the forehead, which could be interpreted by a child as horns.

Adele also recalled that just as they were entering the church, they met Orthodox priests who were wearing blue robes decorated with red. Adele and Camelo also remembered that Alessandrina 1 took great notice of the woman with the skin condition on her forehead and by the priests they had met at the church.

Is This a Reincarnation Case?

IISISReincarnationEviidenceMonrealeChurchThe similarities in physical appearance and behavior between Alessandrina 1 and 2 could be explained by genetics, as they were born from the same parents.

A factor that supports that the similarities are related to the reincarnation includes observations of spirit being guidance. Adele had dreams in which Alessandrina 1 said she would be reborn to Adele. In addition, Adele participated in seances in which Alessandrina 1 said that she would be reborn with a twin, which came true.

The shared phobias of barbers and of loud noises support Alessandrina 2 being the reincarnation of Alessandrina 1.

Most importantly, Alessandrina 2 had memories of the visit to the church in Monreale, of the woman with horns on her forehead and the monks in robes with red, which all correspond to events that occurred in the life of Alessandrina 1.

Understanding Past Lives & Principles of Reincarnation

Physical appearance remains the same from one incarnation to another.

Personality traits remain consistent. As toddlers, Alessandrina 1 and 2 were both quiet and liked to sit quietly in their mother’s lap. They didn’t like to play with toys, but they did like to play with other children. They both disliked any cheese, liked to fold and smooth clothing and cloth, such as sheets and towels, and they liked to play with shoes and put adult shoes on. Alessandrina 1 and 2 tended to speak in the third person. They also like to create pet names. Maria, the sister of Alessandrina 2, did not share these traits.

Phobia from a Past Lifetime: This case demonstrates that phobias can persist from one incarnation to another, as Alessandrina 1 and 2 both had phobias of loud noises and of barbers.

Relationships Renewed through Reincarnation: This case shows that souls can reincarnate in the same family.

Spirit Being Involvement: Alessandrina 1 was able to predict from the spirit world, through a medium, of her coming birth with a twin sister before Christmas, which did occur.

According to Alessandrina 1, after three months of pregnancy the soul becomes more closely attached to the physical plane, to the extent that communication between the soul and humans, through mediums, becomes more difficult. In short, the soul becomes more attached to the fetus at three months of pregnancy.

Split Incarnation: If it is assumed that the soul is involved with the fetus from the time of conception, this represents a case of split incarnation, as Alessandrina 2 was born only 8 months after the death of Alessandrina 1. In other words, the soul of the Alessandrinas was already involved with the fetus of Alessandrina 2, while Alessandrina 1 was still alive.

This type of split incarnation case, in which a soul is involved with a pregnancy while it animates a living person at the same time, was also observed in the Hanan Monsour | Suzanne Ghanem reincarnation case, which was also researched by Ian Stevenson, MD.

Reincarnation Case of Suresh Verma | Titu Singh & Video

A child reincarnation story case of Dr. Ian Stevenson MD. with reincarnation birthmarks and physical resemblance. This is the story of the child Sureh Verma who reincarnated as Titu Singh who has the birthmark on the spot of his past life’s injury which had cut short his young life.

Reincarnation Birthmarks & Past Life Scars Provide Evidence of Reincarnation
Reincarnation Birthmarks & Past Life Scars Provide Evidence of Reincarnation

The case of Titu Singh that appeared in the London-based magazine, Reincarnation International, is one of the more fascinating cases of double birthmarks. This story was first broadcast in 1990 on the BBC TV news program Forty Minutes. The case of Titu who named names and details of his own murder made for exciting TV drama, all true. Place your cursor on images to enlarge.

Titu Singh Remembers his Past Life Name, Wife, Shop & Death

Titu Singh was two and a half years old when he began to tell his family of his other life in Agra, a city in northern India. His memories were quite specific: he said that he had been the owner of a radio, TV and video shop, his name was Suresh Verma, he had a wife named Uma and two children. He also said that he had been shot, then cremated, and his ashes had been thrown in the river.

His parents didn’t take him seriously at first, but his behavior puzzled them–he often behaved as if he wasn’t part of their family. “Titu is just an ordinary child, but sometimes he says and does things that only adults do,” said his father.

Titu Threatens to Run Away to his Past Life Home

Repeatedly, Titu would tell his parents that he was homesick and wanted to go back to Agra. Once, he became so insistent about leaving, that he rolled his clothes into a bundle and threatened to leave home. This behavior was also observed in the: Reincarnation Cases of Burmese Twins

Titu’s Past Life Shop & Wife are Found

Reincarnation Birthmarks Titu Singh

Titu’s older brother decided to travel to Agra to check out his young brother’s claims. He found a TV, radio and video shop called Suresh Radio, which was run by a widow named Uma whose husband had been shot, just as Titu had described. The shop is pictured to the right. The murder occurred in August 1983. The brother approached Uma and explained how his little brother claimed to be her deceased husband. This information made Uma feel very odd.

Titu Spontaneously Recognizes his Past Life Wife, Uma, & Past Life Brothers

She decided to visit the Singh family the next day and see what truth there was in this young child’s report. When the Verma family arrived unannounced, Titu was outside washing at the tap and spotted them first. He recognized them immediately and shouted to his parents that his “other family” had come.

They invited the visitors to sit on the veranda and Titu asked Uma to sit near him–an odd way for a five-year-old in India to relate to a grown woman. He asked about the children, and then stunned the widow by recounting the details of a family outing to a fair in a neighboring village where Suresh had bought her sweets, information that only she could have known. Titu later described burying gold in a hole in the house.

5 Titu Singh Mother Past Life Scar or Birthmark Reincarnation Case-Suresh Radio

It was then arranged that Titu be taken to Agra. When he and his entourage arrived, it had been arranged for Suresh’s two children to be playing among many other neighborhood children as a test for Titu. Titu recognized them immediately, singling them out from their playmates.

Upon entering the Suresh Radio shop, Titu correctly identified changes made to the shop since Suresh’s death. In the adjacent image, Titu is in his past life radio store with his past life wife, Uma, who is at the far right with hands folded.

Suresh’s Parents are Certain that Titu is the Reincarnation of Suresh

Both families played out the ongoing drama of Titu. Titu’s parents had mixed feelings about his relationship with his former family. His mother, who had five older children, didn’t mind him talking about his other parents and former family. She explained, “I feel as though we are all part of the same family. I am comforted by his childish loyalty, saying that although he has parents elsewhere we will always be his real parents. But Titu complains I wear old clothes. He says he used to buy Uma expensive saris.” Titu’s father said he was afraid that when Titu is older, he might break ties with them and go to live with his other family.

Suresh’s parents are certain that Titu is their dead son Suresh reincarnated. His father said, “Titu clings to us with affection. Once in the street he came across a former nanny. She thought Titu was one of Uma’s sons. Titu got annoyed at her saying, ‘Don’t you know who I am?’” The father of Suresh added, “We talk to each other like father and son. But I don’t encourage it too much because it upsets his real parents.”

Reincarnation Birthmarks: Saresh’s Bullet Wounds are Reflected in Titu’s Birthmarks

Reincarnation Birthmarks & Past Life Scars Provide Evidence of Reincarnation

Back to the murder: Titu accurately described how Suresh had been shot in the head at night while sitting in his car after arriving home from work. This was corroborated by Uma. The TV cameras showed the autopsy report of Suresh Verma, which confirmed that he had been shot in the head and died from a bullet wound to the right temple. The autopsy showed the exact size and location of the wound, and the exit wound on the opposite side of Suresh’s head.

Then they showed Titu’s hair being shaved to reveal a birthmark—”a round, indented shape which coincided exactly with the location of the entry wound of the bullet that killed Suresh Verma. The camera also showed a second birthmark on the other side of Titu’s head that coincided exactly with the exit wound.

Titu told more details of the murder to an Agra court and was able to “convince the authorities that he was the reincarnation of the murder victim.” The outcome of the case was not given in this account, but N. K. Chadha, a professor at Delhi University who researched the case, was quoted as saying, “Because of the police involvement, this is one of the very best documented cases of seeming reincarnation I have seen.”

If this reincarnation is accepted, it demonstrates the following features:

Physical Resemblance in Reincarnation Cases: The facial architecture of Suresh and Titu are similar.

Relationships Renewed through Reincarnation: Suresh reincarnated as Titu not far from his past life home, which allowed Suresh to be reunited with his past life family.

Reincarnation Birthmarks: Titu has an indentation on his right temple. Suresh’s autopsy report revealed that a the bullet had entered Suresh’s head at exactly that place. Where the bullet had exited Suresh’s head, there was a mole on Titu’s head at the same location.

Childhood Past Life Memory Reincarnation Story of Rashid Khaddege | Daniel Jurdi

Ian Stevenson, MD studied Daniel Jurdi, who had validated spontaneous past life memories of being Rashid Khaddage, as a child in the 1970’s. Dr. Stevenson revisited Daniel in 1998. He found that Daniel, now a full grown adult, has the same facial features as his past life persona, Rashid Khaddege.

How Derived: Past Life Memories in Childhood

Rashid Dies After Ibrahim Crashes a Car

Rashid Khaddege was an auto mechanic who lived in a town named Kfarmatta (pronounced fur-mat-ta), in Lebanon. Rashid was born in 1943. When he was 25, in 1968, a friend named Ibrahim picked him up to go on a car ride. Ibrahim sped towards the Mediterranean Sea and at a place called Military Beach, Ibrahim lost control of the car. Rashid was thrown from the vehicle, incurred head trauma, and was instantly killed.

Past Life Memories: Little Daniel Calls for Ibrahim and Naim, his Past Life Father

Over a year later, Daniel Jurdi was born. His father was Yusuf Jurdi and his mother Latifeh. Daniel’s earliest word was “Ibrahim.” At the age of two, he told his mother, Latifeh, “I want to go home.” At two and one half, Daniel made the statements, “This is not my house. You are not my mother. I don’t have a father. My father died.” Daniel’s mother recalled, “He would not call Yusuf daddy.” “He called him by name.” Further, Daniel said, “My father was Naim.” Naim was Rashid Khaddege’s father. (1)

At two and a half years of age, at a family picnic, a relative tried to pronounce the name of the town Kfarmatta. Daniel intervened and correctly pronounced the name of the town. When his father asked how he knew the name of the town, Daniel replied, “I am from Kfarmatta.”(2)

Past Life Memories: Daniel Remembers Dying at Military Beach

When Daniel and his mother were driving in Beirut, they passed the place on the sea called Military Beach. Daniel shut his eyes, hiding them with his hands, and started crying. He then screamed, “This is where I died.” As noted, this spot at Military Beach was indeed where Rashid Khaddege died. (3)

Daniel also related that in his prior lifetime, he was mechanic. Regarding the accident, Daniel said that Ibrahim was speeding and lost control of the car. Daniel said “I flew out of the car and landed on my head.” When help came to assist the injured, Daniel said that he heard someone say, “Leave this one, he’s dead.” (4)

Past Life Behavior: Daniel Pinches & Propositions his Nursery School Teacher

In nursery school, Daniel told teachers his name was Rashid Khaddege. In another incident at the nursery school, little Daniel pinched an attractive young teacher and made a suggestive remark. Daniel, as a child, was behaving like the adult Rashid.

Eventually, Daniel’s father sent an acquaintance to Kfarmatta, to inquire about someone fitting Daniel’s description of a mechanic who died in an auto accident at Military Beach. The Khaddeges heard about the story and visited Daniel.

Daniel Recognizes his Past Life Sister Najla, his Past Life Friends Ibrahim & Jijad & He Still Loves Bananas, a Past Life Favorite Food

When Ian Stevenson interviewed the two families in 1979, both said that upon their initial meeting, Daniel instantly recognized Rashid’s sister, Najla, and called her by name. When the families met, Daniel told his mother to bring bananas for the guests. Rashid loved bananas and his mother and sister stopped eating bananas after his death, because bananas reminded them of their loss of Rashid. Later on, during a visit to Kfarmatta, Daniel also spontaneously recognized Ibrahim, as well as Jijad, Rashid’s hunting buddy.

The Khaddege Family Keeps a Cot for their Past Life Son Daniel

Rashid’s family accepted Daniel as their son from a previous lifetime. They have a picture of him at their home and keep a bed for Daniel, who visits one to two times a month. Daniel has married and works as an accountant.

Daniel’s Past Life Phobia of Fast Cars

Daniel has a phobia of speeding cars, which reflects the psychological trauma incurred by Rashid in the crash at Military Beach.

In the images provided above, Daniel Jurdi is holding a photograph of his own past life persona, of Rashid Khaddege. Click on the images to enlarge and your arrow keys to scroll up and down on the image. Like in the case of Suzanne Ghanem, which was also researched by Ian Stevenson, MD, a strong physical resemblance is evident. These Stevenson cases support the premise that facial features can remain consistent from one incarnation to another.

Understanding Past Lives & Principles of Reincarnation

This extremely compelling reincarnation case demonstrates the following features:

Physical Resemblance in Reincarnation Cases: Daniel Jurdi has the same facial features as his past life persona, Rashid Khaddege.

Ian Stevenson, MD
Ian Stevenson, MD

It is significant to note that Ian Stevenson first studied Daniel in Lebanon in 1979, when Daniel was 10 years old. He revisited Daniel in 1998 when he traveled to Lebanon with Tom Schroder, a journalist with the Washington Post, who was writing a book on Stevenson. In 1998, Daniel was now 29 years old and it was only at this point in time that Stevenson realized that Daniel has the same facial features as Rashid. This study shows that we continue to accumulate new evidence involving cases that have been evolving over decades.

An American case in which photos are available across two lifetimes that dramatically shows physical resemblance is:

Reincarnation Case of James Huston Jr. | James Leininger

Relationships Renewed through Reincarnation: Daniel’s past life family, the Khaddeges, have accepted him as the reincarnation Rashid and they have kept a bed for him, so that he could stay with them.

Phobia from a Past Lifetime: Daniel had a fear of fast-moving cars, which appears to stem from his past life death as Rashid Khaddege who died in a car crash.

Spirit Beings in Reincarnation Cases: Daniel said he remembered that after being thrown from the car, a person who came to assist the victims said, “Leave this one, he’s dead.” (4) This memory implies that Daniel, as a spirit being, was able to witness events after his death as Rashid.

Note to Readers: Ian Stevenson. MD, was a Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Virginia who wrote in a very academic style, as his target audience was fellow scientists. On the Reincarnation Research web site, his past life cases are presented as children’s reincarnation stories to make his academic work easier to understand. For those interested in appreciating the scientific rigor of his research, such as his use of multiple witnesses to establish corroborated testimony, please refer to the original reports written by Dr. Ian Stevenson.

Childhood Past Life Memory Reincarnation Story of Hanan Monsour | Suzanne Ghanem

Ian Stevenson, MD studied Suzanne Ghanem, who had validated spontaneous past life memories of being Hanan Monsour, as a child in the 1960’s. Dr. Stevenson revisited Suzanne in 1998. He found that Suzanne, now a full grown adult, has the same facial features as her past life persona, Hanan Monsour.

Hanan was born in Lebanon, in the mid-1930s. When she was twenty, she married Farouk Monsour, a member of a well to do Lebanese family. The couple had two daughters, named Leila and Galareh. Hanan had a brother named Nabih, who became prominent in Lebanese society, but died as a young man in a plane crash.

After having her second daughter, Hanan developed a heart problem and her doctors advised her not to have any more children. Not heeding the warning, she had a third child, a son, in 1962. In 1963, shortly after the death of her brother Nabih, Hanan’s health started to deteriorate. She then started to talk about dying. Farouk, Hanan’s husband, said that Hanan told him that “she was going to be reincarnated and have lots to say about her previous life.”(1) This was two years before her death.

Before her Death, Hanan Tries to Telephone Leila

At age of thirty-six, Hanan traveled to Richmond, Virginia, to have heart surgery. She tried to telephone her daughter Leila before the operation, but couldn’t get through. Hanan died of complications the day after surgery.

Spiritual Communication: An Announcing Dream from the Spirit Realm5 Ghanem Phone

Ten days after Hanan died, Suzanne Ghanem was born. Suzanne’s mother told Ian Stevenson that shortly before Suzanne’s birth, “I dreamed I was going to have a baby girl. I met a woman and I kissed and hugged her. She said, ‘I am going to come to you.’ The woman was about forty. Later, when I saw Hanan’s picture, I thought it looked like the woman in my dream.”(2)

In other words, Suzanne Ghanem’s mother had a dream that she would have a child that had the appearance of Hanan Monsour, and this dream became a reality.

Hanan Reincarnates as Suzanne Monsour & Tries to Telephone her Past Life Daughter Leila

At 16 months of age, Suzanne pulled the phone off the hook as if she was trying to talk into it and said, over and over, “Hello, Leila?” The family didn’t know who Leila was. When she got older, Suzanne explained that Leila was one of her children and that she was not Suzanne, but Hanan. The family asked, “Hanan what?” Suzanne replied, “My head is still small. Wait until it is bigger, and I might tell you.”(3)

Past Life Memories: Suzanne Identifies & Names 13 Past Life Family Members

By the time she was two, she had mentioned the names of her other children, her husband, Farouk, and the names of her parents and her brothers from the previous lifetime—thirteen names in all.

In trying to locate Suzanne’s past life family, acquaintances of the Ghanems made inquiries in the town where the Monsours lived. When they heard about the case, the Monsours visited Suzanne. The Monsours were initially skeptical about the girl’s claims. They became believers when Suzanne identified all of Hanan’s relatives, picking them out and naming them accurately. Suzanne also knew that Hanan had given her jewels to her brother Hercule in Virginia, prior to her heart surgery, and that Hanan instructed her brother to divide the jewelry among her daughters. No one outside of the Monsour family knew about the jewels.

Before she could read or write, Suzanne scribbled a phone number on a piece of paper. Later, when the family went to the Monsour’s home, they found that the phone number matched the Monsour’s number, except that the last two digits were transposed. As a child, Suzanne could recite the oration spoken at the funeral of Hanan’s brother, Nabih. Suzanne’s family taped the recitation, though the tape was eventually lost.

Reincarnation Physical ResemblanceSuzanne Still Loves Farouk, her Past Life Husband

At five years of age, Suzanne would call Farouk three times a day. When Suzanne visited Farouk, she would sit on his lap and rest her head against his chest. At 25 years of age, Suzanne would still telephone Farouk.

Suzanne Identifies Past Life Friends from Photos

Farouk, a career policeman, has accepted Suzanne as the reincarnation of his deceased wife, Hanan. To support this conclusion, Farouk points out that from photographs, Suzanne accurately picked out scores of people they had been acquainted with, and knew other information that only Hanan would have known.

In this image comparison, Hanan Monsour is on the left side and Suzanne Ghanem is on the right. A striking physical resemblance is noted, which supports the premise that facial features can remain consistent from one incarnation to another. The image can be enlarged by clicking on it. Understanding Past Lives & Principles of Reincarnation

This extremely compelling reincarnation case demonstrates the following features:

Ian Stevenson, MD

Physical Resemblance from One Lifetime to Another: Suzanne Ghamen has the same facial features as Hanan Monsour, her past life personality.

It is significant to note that Ian Stevenson first studied Suzanne in Lebanon when she was only a small child in the late 1960s. He revisited Suzanne in 1998 when he traveled to Lebanon with Tom Schroder, a journalist with the Washington Post who was writing a book on Stevenson. In 1998, Suzanne was now 35 years old and it was only at this point in time that Stevenson realized that Suzanne has the same facial features as Hanan Monsour. This occurred approximately 30 years after Stevenson first studied Suzanne in the 1960s. The point is that we are continuing to accumulate new evidence involving cases that have been evolving over decades.

An American case in which photos are available over two lifetimes that dramatically shows physical resemblance is:

Reincarnation Case of James Huston, Jr. | James Leininger

Spirit Being Involvement: Hanan announced her upcoming birth to her future mother in a dream. In addition, Hanan’s soul appears to have known that Hanan would die prematurely and be reborn with memories of her past lifetime, as Hanan predicted this turn of events to her husband, Farouk. In his series of 1200 validated children’s past life memory cases, announcing dreams were observed in 22 percent of these cases.

Relationships Renewed through Reincarnation: As Suzanne, Hanan was reunited with the Monsours, her past life family, and demonstrated love and affection for Farouk, her past life husband.

Split Incarnation: Suzanne was born only 10 days after Hanan died. If it is assumed that the soul is involved in the development of the fetus, then the soul of Hanan was animating Suzanne’s fetus while Hanan was still alive. This overlap of lifetimes occurred for almost the entire duration of Suzanne’s gestation.
