Friendship of Daw’s Mother with Tint, Who Will Become Daw’s Mother When She Reincarnates

Daw Soe, a girl, was born in Burmese city of Mandalay in about the year 1887. Burma is now known as Myanmar. The Buddhist temples of Mandalay are featured in the image to the right. Click on it to enlarge.

Daw grew up in Mandalay and as a young woman, she married and then had five children. Daw and her husband earned their living through a trading company that they had founded. Daw also enjoyed doing meditation.

Daw had a younger female friend whose name was Khin San Tint, who we will refer to as Tint. Though Tint was not a relative, there was a close connection between her and Daw. In fact, Daw kept a photograph of Tint at her home and conversely, Tint kept a photo of Daw at her home.

When she was in her early 60’s, Daw developed cataracts or opacties of the lenses of both eyes, which led to her becoming blind. When she was 64 years old, she had an operation on one of her eyes to remove the cataract. Surgery was successful, though Daw had to wear eyeglasses with thick lenses for the rest of her life to see well through the eye that was operated on.

Daw’s friend, Tint, married and became pregnant at the end of 1964. Daw died shortly afterwards, on February 22, 1965 at the age of 78.

Daw Reincarnates as a Boy, Tun, with Tint as his Mother

About 6 months later, on August 28, 1965, Tint gave birth to a baby boy, who she named Maung Soe Tun. For simplicity, we will refer to him as Tun.

Tun was born in the Burmese city of Magwe, which is about 60 kilometers or 37 miles west of Mandalay, where Daw Soe had lived.

Tint worked as a schoolteacher.  As she was absent from the family’s home during the day, Tun was raised by Tint’s aunt.

Tun Recognizes His Past Life Photo

As noted, Tint kept a photo of Daw Soe at her home. When Tint’s son, Tun, was 7 months old he would point to the photograph of Daw Soe. While looking at this photo, he would pat himself on the chest.

This behavior stimulated his family to ask him: “Are you mother Soe?” In response, Tun seemed to be pleased by this identification.

When Tun started to speak at 18 months of age, he made more direct references to his previous life as Daw Soe. For example, Tun talked about the relatives of Daw Soe who lived in Nga-Zun, Burma, though Tun had never been there.

Tun Makes Past Life Identifications at Daw’s Home

When Tun was 4 years old, he was taken to Daw Soe’s home and he recognized people that Daw Soe had known, who Tun had never met in his lifetime.  For example, Tun recognized Daw’s brother, U Shwe Gaing, who Tun correctly called by a nick-name that Daw had used for her brother.

Also at Daw’s home, Tun pointed to a room, which, it turned out, was where Daw Soe had always slept.

Daw Soe’s family, as a past life test, mixed up clothing and jewelry that had belonged to Daw with apparel and jewelry that belonged to other family members. Tun then correctly identified clothing and jewelry that had belonged to Daw and rejected items that did not belong to Daw.

At 7 years of age, Tun pointed to a photo of Daw Soe and stated that she was him. Tun also reported that as Daw, his right eye had been operated on. Like Daw, Tun developed an interest in meditation.

Parallel Lives or Split IncarnationSplit Incarnation

Ian Stevenson, MD noted that Tun’s mother, Tint, was 3 months pregnant when Daw had died. As such, Tun was conceived three months before Daw had died.

If the soul is involved in conception, which I do believe it is, then the lives of Daw and Tun overlapped by 3 months. Ian Stevenson, MD documented a number of cases in which lifetimes overlapped. Stevenson termed these: “Cases with Anomalous Dates”

I call these types of cases “Split Incarnation,” as the soul inhabits or animates more than one human body at a time. An older term for this phenomenon is “Parallel Lives.”

A split incarnation case that Stevenson documented involved Ruprecht Schultz. Ruprecht was born 6 weeks before his past life personality. Helmut Kohler, had died. Stevenson considered this reincarnation case as one of strongest he had ever researched. The setting of this story is World War II in Germany. To learn more, please go to:

Evidence and Principles of Reincarnation-Understanding Past Lives

Planning Lifetimes and Past Life Relationships: Daw Soe had a close relationship with a younger female friend named Tint. Daw reincarnated as Tint’s son, Tun.

Reincarnation and Gender Change: Daw Soe was a woman, but reincarnated as Tun, a male.

Split Incarnation or Parallel Lives: Tun was conceived three months before Daw died. If the soul is involved in the process of conception,  then the soul of Daw | Tun was animating two human bodies at a time. Ian Stevenson, MD of the University of Virginia called these “Cases with Anomalous Dates,” as lifetimes overlapped.

A Lebanese Student Commits Suicide in California and Reincarnates in Lebanon: The Past Life Case of Rabih Assaf | Wael Kiwan

The Life and Death of Rabih Assaf

Rabih Assaf was born on August 12, 1964. He lived with his mother, whose name was Munira, in a four-story apartment building in Beirut, Lebanon, in the Jal al Bahr neighborhood, which was close to the Mediterranean Sea. There was a mosque nearby which was named Allah Wa Akbar.

They lived on the first floor, where they had a balcony in the front of their apartment that was just above the level of the street. Rabih would often jump off the balcony onto the pavement to exit the apartment. Behind their home was a building with a red roof.

When he matured, Rabih grew out a mustache to compliment his black hair. When he was 21 years old, Rabih moved to South Pasadena, California, where the family had relatives. The purpose of this relocation was for him to study electrical engineering at an American university. He completed two years of study, but then ran out of money. Rabih wanted to return to Beirut but was unable to for two reasons. One was that a civil war was taking place there. Secondly, he did not have enough money to travel there, nor, unfortunately, did he have the funds to support himself in California.

Rabih became depressed and attempted suicide by taking an overdose of medications, but he was taken to a hospital and survived. His family in South Pasadena tried to keep an eye on him to prevent another attempt, but on January 9, 1988, Rabih committed suicide by hanging himself in the family’s garage.

Rabih Reincarnates in Lebanon

Wael Kiwan was born in 1988 in the village of Batir, which is in the mountains of Lebanon 70 kilometers or 44 miles east of Beirut. The date of his birth was not documented in the case report published by Dr. Haraldsson, but it was stated that it appeared that Wael was born within a year of the death of Rabih Assaf.

Past life Memories

At the age of four, Wael said that his name was Rabih. He said that he was big before and that he had other parents in Beirut. He wanted to know where they were. He said that he lived in the Jal al Bahr section of Beirut by the sea and that he lived by the mosque of Allah Wa Akbar.

Wael would talk of a boat. He would draw the steering wheel of a boat on paper and say, “I used to stand,” and he would then move his hands in a circular motion showing how he would steer the boat.

Let us summarize statements that Wael made, which are accurate for the life of Rabih Assaf:

“My name was Rabih. I was big.”

“I have parents. They are not here, they are in Beirut.”

“My house is in Beirut near the sea.”

“My house is in Jal al Bahr.”

“My house is near the house of Allah Wa Akbar.”

“There is a house with a red brick roof.”

“We had a balcony.”

“I used to jump from the balcony to the street.”

“I would walk from my house to the sea.”

“I was often on a boat out at sea.”

“I had two homes, one in Beirut, and one which I went to in an airplane.”

Investigating Wael’s Past Life Memories

Periodically, Wael’s father would go on business to Beirut. On his return, Wael would ask if he had seen his house. When his father replied that he had not, Wael would get upset and say, “If you find it, don’t tell them that Rabih has died, because they will cry.”

In trying to understand who Wael could have been in his past incarnation, the family convened with Wael and they listed common family or last names in Beirut. He rejected all the names until they came to “Assaf,” at which point Wael stated, “Yes,” that was the name of his previous family. As such, the apparent past life name was Rabih Assaf.

Wael’s father had a friend in Beirut, Sami Zhairi, who agreed to ask around for a boy that Wael described. Sami learned about Rabih Assaf who lived in the Jal al Bahr section of Beirut, whose life who seemed to match the statements made by Wael.

Wael finds his Past Life Home

About a year after he made his first statements about a previous existence, Wael’s father took him to Beirut. Once there, they were accompanied by Sami. When they entered the Jal al Bahr neighborhood, Wael ran ahead and identified his past life home with a balcony just above street level.

They knocked on the door of the first-floor apartment and were let in by Raja Assaf, who was the brother of Rabih. Munira, Rabih’s mother, was not home at the time. Wael saw a picture on the wall and said, “This is my picture.” It was a photo of Rabih Assaf.

Raja then brought out a photo album to see if Wael could identify family members. He was able to identify Rabih’s father, sister and paternal aunt.  Wael asked Raja what happened to the building with the red roof? It turned out that this building was demolished following the death of Rabih.

Later on, when Munira was asked what made her believe that Wael was her deceased son reborn, she related his knowledge of the building with the red roof convinced her more than anything, as Rabih grew up seeing the building from the back of their apartment. How could Wael know about a structure that no longer was there?

Munira also confirmed that Rabih would often jump off their balcony to access the street, rather than going through the front door of their apartment. It was also verified that the Allah Wa Akbar mosque was located about 100 meters from the apartment that Munira lived in.

Repressed Memories regarding Wael’s Past Life Suicide?

A discrepancy in this reincarnation case is that Wael never said that he had killed himself. Rather, he repeatedly said that it was sunset, that he saw a group of people coming towards him and they shot him, then kicked him and hit him until he did not feel anything. One wonders if committing suicide brought shame and embarrassment to Wael, so the soul of Rabih | Wael created this alternate death story to lessen painful memories of being depressed to the point of taking one’s own life.

A Reincarnation Announcing Dream

Wael’s mother shared that she had a dream a week before he was born, in which she saw a grown-up boy who had a mustache, black hair and an open shirt on.  The boy was sweating, as well as breathing rapidly and with difficulty. Later, after this reincarnation case was solved, Wael’s mother noted that the man in her dream resembled Rabih. The boy’s difficulty with breathing could be related to suicide by hanging.

Principles of Reincarnation-Understanding Past Lives

Planning Lifetimes and Relationships Renewed through Reincarnation: Though Rabih died in California, he managed to reincarnate in Lebanon near his past life home. This event dramatically demonstrates planning by the soul for a future incarnation. Through reincarnation, Wael was reunited with his past life mother and brother.

Spirit Being Involvement in Reincarnation Cases: The soul of Rabih appears to have sent his future mother a dream, announcing that he would be born as her son.

Suicide: Rabih committed suicide, but was reborn as Wael

Reincarnation and Suicide-Introduction

Ian Stevenson, MD reincarnartion cases in which suicide was committed in a past lifetime. The symbol for reincarnation cases involving suicide is an X, representing negation, on a green background, which symbolizes life.

reincarnation-suicideArticle by Walter Semkiw, MD

Ian Stevenson, MD, documented a number of reincarnation cases in which an individual committed suicide in the past life. Phobias or behaviors in the contemporary lifetime are observed related to the manner suicide was committed in the past lifetime.

Though suicide is something that tragic for all involved, it is reassuring that evolution for the soul continues.

The symbol for reincarnation cases involving suicide is an X, representing negation, on a green background, which symbolizes life.

Robin Williams as the Reincarnation of Will Rogers

Will Rogers Robin Williams Smile Reincarnation Case ImageRobin Williams committed suicide during the evening of Sunday, August 10 or the early morning of Monday, August 11, 20 14. A few days after this tragic event, a Reincarnation Research supporter sent me a message with the hypothesis that in the past lifetime, Robin Williams was the great American humorist and movie star, Will Rogers. Will Rogers was one of the most famous celebrities of the 1920s and 1930s.

In looking at images of the Rogers, I was very impressed by the physical resemblance between the two. In fact, one can almost see Robin Williams in the eyes and smile of Will Rogers. Also, in reading some of Will Rogers’ most famous quotations, one can almost hear Robin Williams saying the same things. Place your cursor over images to enlarge and use arrow keys to scroll up and down on the image.

In a session with Kevin Ryerson which took place on August 16, 2014, Ahtun Re, the spirit guide channeled through Kevin who has demonstrated the ability to make past life matches with a high degree of accuracy, affirmed that Robin Williams was the reincarnation of Will Rogers.

Robin Williams’ Interest in Reincarnation Research & What Dreams May Come

5 Robin Williams Will Rogers Reincarnation & Suicide ImageI happen to know that Robin Williams was very interested in reincarnation. The way this knowledge came about is that I met an individual in August 2013 who had created one of the early Internet E-mail providers, such as Hotmail or Yahoo. His company was then purchased by a venture capital group, which allowed this hi-tech entrepreneur to retire at an early age.

Hoping that this person may be interested in financially supporting ReincarnationResearch.com I showed him the our website. I explained that independently researched reincarnation cases, including cases studied by Ian Stevenson, MD at the University of Virgina, demonstrate that individuals can change religion, nationality and ethnic affiliation from one incarnation to another. I pointed out that understanding of this observation can help create a more peaceful world, as most conflicts are based on differences in these cultural markers of identity.

I then showed this hi-tech entrepreneur the Evidence of Reincarnation video, which I had put up on You Tube on May 21, 2013. This video centers on the reincarnation research of Dr. Ian Stevenson at the University of Virginia. Over a period of 40 years, Dr. Stevenson studied young children who had spontaneous memories of past lifetimes. In approximately 1200 Stevenson cases, the children’s past life memories could be objectively validated. In my opinion these cases, in aggregate, provide proof of reincarnation

After watching the Evidence of Reincarnation video, which has had millions of views, the hi-tech entrepreneur became quite excited and stated that a person who he lives next to is very interested in reincarnation research and has spoken of Ian Stevenson.

IISIS Image of Robin Williams Reincarnation Sea CliffThe hi-tech entrepreneur explained that he lives in the Sea Cliff neighborhood of San Francisco and that once a month, he and this neighbor would get together, smokes cigars and discuss life. The hi-tech entrepreneur said that he would tell his friend about the work that I was doing in reincarnation research and he stated that he was sure that his neighbor would contact me due to our mutual interest in reincarnation research. I asked the hi-tech entrepreneur who his neighbor is and he replied, “Robin Williams.” Robin Williams did indeed live in Sea Cliff at that point in time in 2013, but he subsequently moved to Tiburon, where he committed suicide in August 2014.

As we parted, this individual reiterated that he was sure that Robin Williams would contact me. I gave the hi-tech entrepreneur my Born Again and Origin of the Soul books to forward to Robin, along with my contact information. Much to my disappointment, Robin Williams never did get in touch with me.

Of interest, Robin Williams starred in a movie, What Dreams May Come, which deals with suicide and reincarnation. Robin also had a joke about reincarnation which has received much publicity. He said, regarding reincarnation: “With my luck I will come back as myself.” This is a funny, albiet true, statement.

Reincarnation and Suicide

5 Robin Williams Will Rogers Reincarnation & Suicide ImageIf reincarnation is real, which reincarnation research does support, what are the ramifications of suicide on the progression of the soul? Ian Stevenson did publish a reincarnation case involving suicide, which he considered one of the strongest cases he had ever studied. In addition, two other reincarnation cases involving suicide were published by Stevenson’s colleague, Satwant Pasricha, PhD. Please review the Ian Stevenson case involving Ruprecht Schultz by clicking on the link provided below

Is Mental Illness Continued from One Lifetime to Another through Reincarnation?

Though in the end, Robin Williams developed a neurologic disease which appears to have made is life intolerable, he also suffered from biochemical depression and he may have also had bipolar disorder, also known as manic-depressive illness. Both of these conditions are caused by an imbalance of neurotransmitters in the brain. Will Rogers, on the other hand, does not appear to have had a history of depression or bipolar disorder. As such, if this reincarnation case is accepted, it appears that mental illness is not a quality of the soul and is not continued from one lifetime to another. Rather, these conditions appear to be related to an individual’s genetic inheritance.

Criticism regarding Robin Williams’ & Kurt Cobain’s Suicides

The media has reported that family members of Robin Williams, including his children, have received hostile messages regarding Robin’s suicide. Hostility is generated by the point of view that Robin had everything one could want, such as a loving family, worldwide fame and wealth. With so many riches, how could he commit suicide? A similar reaction occurred with the suicide death of Kurt Cobain, the late lead singer of the rock group Nirvana.

5 Kurt Cobain Suicide Reincarnation ImageThis hostility and lack of empathy for suicide deaths stems from the inability of those who have not experienced depression to imagine how somebody could possibly feel so bad to commit suicide. Very simply, when an individual has severe biochemical depression, that person can experience a total lack of enjoyment in life, as well as profound despair. Only somebody who has experienced severe depression can fully understand it.

The psychological term for the feeling one experiences in depression is “anhedonia,” in which an individual does not experience any joy or pleasure in life. It should be noted that in the vast majority of depression cases, anhedonia can be successfully treated with anti-depressant medications. For individuals who do not respond to medications, ECT (Electroconvulsant Therapy), also known as electroshock therapy, can be of benefit.

Unfortunately, whether appropriate treatment is not taken advantage of or if treatment does not succeed in controlling anhedonia, people commit suicide as they can no longer tolerate feeling the way that they do. They perceive suicide as being a method to relieve themselves of depression and despair.

Individuals who experience depression must be open to taking medications that will modify the neurochemistry of the brain to relieve anhedonia. Rather than criticize those who succumb to suicide, we must have empathy for the person who feels so bad that they feel they cannot continue living.

Is Suicide Justified in Light of Evidence of Reincarnation?

Though I do urge empathy and understanding for those who do commit suicide, I do not believe that suicide is a wise choice and that suicide does have karmic implications. Once again, to review these issues please go to:

Reincarnation Case of Helmut Kohler | Ruprecht Schultz and the Karma of Suicide-Must Read

In sum, based on reincarnation research, Robin Williams will not be eternally damned or go to hell. Rather, he will reincarnate and be the same comic genius as he was in his lifetimes as Will Rogers and Robin Williams. He will likely have to deal with karma related to committing suicide, including the grief he caused loved ones, but the progress of Robin’s soul will continue. Hopefully, he will not be born with similar biochemical afflictions in the future. One should keep in mind that Robin had a big heart and did much good for people in need, so he does have positive karma, which will help balance the negative karma incurred by committing suicide.

Principles of Reincarnation & Understanding Past Lives

5 Robin Williams Suicide & Reincarnation Movie What Dreams May Come, Walter Semkiw ArticlePhysical Resemblance in Reincarnation Cases: There is a marked resemblance between Will Rogers and Robin Williams.

Past Life Talent: In may ways, Robin Williams replicated the career of Will Rogers in becoming a comedian, actor and world-renown celebrity.

Reincarnation & Suicide: Reincarnation research demonstrates that those who commit suicide reincarnate like everyone else. The individual who commits suicide may need to face circumstances similar to those that drove the person to suicide in a past lifetime, but hopefully, the individual will not commit suicide again in the future incarnation.

Islam Reincarnation Case of Oma Devi | Nagina: Past Life Case involving Suicide, Religion Change & Renewed Relationships

Oma Devi committed suicide reincarnated in a little over 3 years after her death, demonstrating that suicide does not end the evolution of the soul. Oma Devi was Hindu, but reborn into a Sunni Muslim family.

The Life & Suicide of Oma Devi

5 Reincarnation Suicide Case A Blazing FireOma Devi was a schoolteacher who lived in District of Farrukhabad, in the Indian state of Uddar Pradesh, which is the home of the famous Taj Mahal. Her husband was a merchant who sold books and stationary in Mohammadabad. The couple was of the Hindu faith and they had four children, two boys and two girls.

Unfortunately, Oma Devi and her husband had a bad marriage. On May 19, 1987, the couple had a serious argument and in reaction, Oma poured kerosene over herself and set herself on fire, perishing from her burns. She was 47 years of age when she died.

Oma Devi, a Hindu, Reincarnates into a Sunni Muslim Family

In October 1990, about 3 and a half years after Oma Devi died, a girl named Nagina was born to a Sunni Muslim family, who did not believe in reincarnation. The family also lived in the District of Farrukhabad, not far from Oma Devi’s home. Her father, Amaruddin, made his living by transporting people in a tanga, a horse-drawn carriage.

Past Life Behavior: Nagina Reenacts Committing Suicide

Islam reincarnation past lives cresent moonWhen Nagina was a little over 1 year of age, before she learned to speak, one of Amaruddin’s aunts came to visit the family. The aunt asked for some mustard oil, to massage into her hair. Nagina then brought her a bottle of kerosene. The aunt, surprised, asked what she would do with kerosene. Nagina then made the gesture of pouring the bottle of kerosene over her head and she then made the gesture of lighting a match to set herself on fire. These gestures of lighting a match and bringing the lit match to her head became a repetitive behavior.

Past Life Memories: Nagina Reports She was Oma, Who Committed Suicide

When Nagina was 3 years old and able to speak, she said that in a prior lifetime she was a schoolteacher named Oma and that she had 2 daughters and 2 sons. Nagina shared that after an argument with her husband, she poured kerosene over her body and then set herself on fire.

Amaruddin’s family, as noted, did not believe in reincarnation and they tried to suppress Nagina’s past life memories by beating her on the head. This strategy failed, as Nagina continued to talk about her past life.

Past Life Memories: Nagina knows Family Secrets & Mourns the Death of her Past Life Husband

When Oma Devi’s two sons heard about Nagina’s claims of a prior incarnation in which she set herself on fire, they came to visit her. Nagina shared with them details of Oma’s life that were not known outside the family. Based on this testimony, Oma Devi’s elder son became convinced that Nagina was his mother reborn. The younger son did not know what to make of the situation.

The families maintained contact. In April 1996, when Nagina was 5 and a half years old, Oma Devi’s husband died. Despite the conflicts that Oma and her husband had, Nagina was very upset about the death of her past life husband.

Past Life Birthmarks

Dr. Pasricha noted that Nagina had hyper-pigmented or dark colored birthmarks on her chin and lower abdomen, which could have been related to burns incurred by Oma Devi.

Validity of Nagina’s Past Life Story

In commenting on the credibility of the case, Dr. Pasricha noted that it was very unlikely that Nagina’s family would fabricate a reincarnation case that went against their religion, especially one that involves suicide. Though Shiite Muslims are open to reincarnation, Sunni Muslims, the branch of Islam that Nagina’s family belonged to, do not accept reincarnation. Recall that Nagina’s family tried to suppress her talk of a past lifetime though physical punishment.

Dr. Pasricha also commented that it was unlikely that as a one year old Nagina would have learned of Oma Devi’s death and that it was even more unlikely that a family would teach a child to pretend committing suicide. (1)

Principles of Reincarnation & Understanding Past Lives

Change in Religion: Oma Devi was Hindu, but she was reborn into a Sunni Muslim family that did not believe in reincarnation.

Past Life Birthmarks or Scars: Nagina had dark-colored birthmarks on her chin and abdomen, which Dr. Pasricha noted could be related to burn scars incurred by Oma Deva in her suicide.

Relationships Renewed through Reincarnation: Oma Devi reincarnated in close proximity to her past life home, which allowed her to be reunited with her past life family. Though Oma Devi committed suicide after an argument with her husband, Nagina expressed grief when her past life husband died.

Reincarnation & Suicide: Oma Devi committed suicide but reincarnated a little over 3 years after her death, demonstrating that suicide does not end the evolution of the soul. Oma Devi likely generated karma from the pain she caused others, which she may have to experience herself in the course of time. Also, Nagina may face similar circumstances as Oma Devi did, but she will need to react in more productive ways.
